⚡Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky warned Europe on Thursday that recent drone incursions showed Russia was looking to “escalate” its aggression, as he offered his country’s war-honed expertise to help counter the threat.

European leaders from just under 50 countries converged on a conference centre in Copenhagen under tight security after mystery drone flights rattled Denmark.

The drone sightings in Denmark and high-profile aerial incursions by Moscow in Estonia and Poland have heightened fears that Russia’s assault on Ukraine could spill over Europe’s borders.

“The recent drone incidents across Europe are a clear sign that Russia still feels bold enough to escalate this war,” Zelensky said.

“It was never just about Ukraine, Russia has always aimed to break the West and Europe.”

European leaders are keen to work with Ukraine’s war-tested expertise as they seek to bolster their own defences, and are discussing plans for a “drone wall” to counter the menace from Moscow.

“If the Russians dare to launch drones against Poland, or violate the airspace of northern European countries, it means this can happen anywhere,” Zelensky said.

“We are ready to share this experience with our partners.”

FoolishBoy419:
When America and it's goons fought a conventional war in Iraq, with all the conditions you outlined above, how many civilians were killed? You tell us.

The Vietcong wore uniforms too. What was the dead civilian figures in Vietnam?

I'm not happy to say this because it is unfortunate and no noncombatant deserves death over decisions that have nothing to do with him, but 15 thousand civilian casualties in a war that has killed well over 500,000 is not just humane, it's miraculous. You'd never get that kind of ratio in a war that involves USA.
The Iraqi war is classified into two distinct parts: the invasion phase and the post invasion phase

When the US led muti-national coalition invaded Iraq which is the main invasion phase of the war during which the "dictator" Saddam Hussain was removed the US fought against Iraqi forces in a conventional war?, the war to removed Saddam hussein was conventional and the casualty rate was minimal.

In the invasion phase of the war (19 March – 30 April), an estimated 9,200 Iraqi combatants were killed by coalition forces along with an estimated 3,750 non-combatants, i.e. civilians who did not bear arms

The casualties rate sky rocketed when multiple terrorist organisations linked up and started an insurgency style warfare in Iraq.

Funny that you would add the Vietnam War, that's the worst-case you could have come up with mate. the Vietnam War is the perfect example of what an asymmetric warfare is all about. There's a huge difference between the regular North Vietnamese Army, the NVA, and the viet Cong. While the NVA had formal uniforms, ranks, and operational structure, the latter the Viet Cong was a South Vietnamese based coalition of anti-government forces who supported the communist cause. they were more loosely organized, lacked formal uniform, and were mostly used as cannon fodders, blending with civilians while carrying out insurgency style attacks on civilians and government forces

That being said, i won't fail to acknowledge that the US Air Force also contributed to some portion of civilian casualties through her the massive bombing runs in North Vietnam

The bottom line is this Russia has no intention of keeping civilians causalities at the minimum, you can't be sending waves of drones and missiles into ubarn areas far from the fontlines if you want to keep mitigate against civilians deaths

⚡French President Emmanuel Macron announced Thursday that military chiefs of countries in the European-led “coalition of the willing” supporting Ukraine will hold talks within days on how to disrupt Russia’s sanction-busting shadow fleet.

“In the coming days, our chiefs of staff, in coordination with NATO, within the framework of the coalition of the willing, will meet to develop joint actions to implement a policy of obstruction against the shadow fleet in the coming weeks,” he told reporters after a gathering of dozens of leaders in Denmark.

⚡“As both time and recent events show, we must be prepared for anything.”

Putin, speaking on the accelerating pace of global change, warned that no one can fully foresee the future yet each person bears a heightened responsibility in this period of history: for their own fate, for their nation, and for the world.

“The stakes are extraordinarily high.”

⚡The space of multipolarity is much more democratic. It opens opportunities for a large number of political and economic players.

Never before have so many countries influenced, or sought to influence, regional and global processes — Putin

He emphasized that no one is willing anymore to play by rules set far away “across the ocean.” Multipolarity means finding common ground, not accepting new hegemons.

⚡Putin at Valdai:

“There is no defense against a crowbar… except another crowbar. And that other crowbar always appears.”

He framed this as the essence of today’s world order: no matter how much power one country or bloc accumulates, there is always a counterforce. Limits to dominance always emerge.

A clear rejection of hegemony, and a reminder that multipolarity is not just theory, but an inevitability.
