Please help move to front page Sorry if there is type errors Please I’m really need urgent help . Ending of August I started feeling sick and I had cough, so I went to take treatment and I felt better but I noticed the cough didn’t stop. I went back to pharmacy and they recommended I join antibiotics to my medication which they prescribed and I got it . But I noticed no improvement and I started having difficulty breathing. I decided to go to the hospital. I was ask to do am X-ray and also RVS test which I did and the results was okay. So I was nebulize and I felt better . I went home and I noticed same symptoms. I rush back to port harcourt and went to one of the best hospital yet I was ask to run series of test which I did and they said everything is okay . I was still giving medication but yet no improvement. Note I’m not asthmatic and I even did spirometry test and they said my lungs is okay . Please doctor in the house what can I do . Please I need help

Sorry to hear that. Have you tried chatting with ChatGPT? You could tell it your symptoms and what tests you’ve taken and all of that… you can even upload your test results on the chat for better diagnosis. Then from its reply you can eliminate the odd options and probe on with the most likely outcome it suggests. It can help streamline your options and when you get the most likely ones you can suggest that to the next physician that checks u up |

Skyhoney1:1. What kind of treatment and antibiotics did you combine? 2. And for how many days did you take it before rushing back to PH? 3.What kind of medication were you given at the hospital in PH? 4. For how many days did you use the medication given to you at the hospital in PH? Going forward on the issue, since your initial results were normal, you might need a deeper review such as: High-resolution CT scan of the chest (to rule out subtle lung issues). Echocardiogram (to assess the heart). Allergy testing, sputum test (to check for hidden infections like TB or fungal infections). Note: You should see a doctor. Avoid self-medicating with repeated antibiotics since not all coughs are caused by infection. |

TyroneP:Thanks . I was ask to take the medication for 10 days . I have done TB and the results is negative. I did the sputum test yesterday waiting for the results. |

I am currently having this same issue after taking amoxicillin one week was nebulizer. please which anti Biotics did you take and are your treating blood pressure? |

U did not mention the antibiotics name also what substance was the liquid in the nebulizer: or send me ur contact number we will overcome this . Always try to know names of all things that enter ur system . Nebulizer liquid can be saline or salbutamol 1 Like |

I'm not a doctor nor in the medical field ... but advising based on observations and experiences. Just curious ..why go to a pharmacist and not a doctor? Whatever drug he recommended...did he first find out if you have allergies and may be allergic to it? Allergies can kill ...just saying. The coughing ... if it's a dry cough ... just a little brown stuff to spit after coughing like five times. . it may be bronchitis. Did you test for bronchitis? I had that at least twice ...caught it likely from a customer. If the cough is a dry cough ... verrrry dry....you cough until you choke...and there is nothing to spit ... I suspect COVID because COVID also comes with breathing difficulty ...shortness of breath ... can't run or walk even shirt distances without having to stop and gasp for air. If these are the two main things happening then I'll say more likely...COVID. if you had the COVID shot ...then I'll say most likely COVID. Maybe you should take a test. For now... I'll recommend you use ginger .... ginger tea and heat same ....inhale the vapor. Above all ....visit hospital...test for bronchitis...and COVID |

Skyhoney1:cut out sugar and salt, cut out junk and artificial foods. Exercise, especially cardio. Eat iron, folate and niacin rich foods. Go for seeds or whole grains like buckwheat, quinoa, Guinea corn. Eat 1-4 raw or overnight soaked garlic every morning. Quit all pharmaceuticals. Pray and watch, you will be alright. |

Skyhoney1:I have already told you everything you need, it now boils down to if you are disciplined enough to cure yourself through prayer, diet and lifestyle. Avoid meat too, best you cut out animals and animal products. |

You need to run Full blood count. and do a sputum culture so we can be sure on what we are dealing with. it could be that the drugs you took are already resistant, if it is a bacterial infection. And it could also be a fungal infection, hence the antibiotics you took won't work. But a sputum culture will rule this out. |
