In Imo State, it's the tout and hoodlums that enforce the ban on commercial vehicles. |

MadamExcellency:You don't talk like that. There is no single tout in imo state. Please just assume this is the truth, at least to prevent some people from weeping in your mention for the next 48 hours and they will be happy with you on the ground of the self delusion. |

Newsgeek24:I am of the opinion that the court should look deeply at the merit of the enforcement, considering the state of insecurity. |

I don’t see anything big in this tint permitting… insecurity still Dey everywhere. I feel it’s more of police exploitation than curbing the crime. |

Lionnation:Please tell them. Can't we incorporate tint permit in vehicle registration or even their much touted CMR. Why proliferate these data bases just for the purpose of ripping people off |

The court always resucing the police from itself. They should have allowed them commence implementation. The maturity date of this space is nearer. |

😂😂😂😂😂 NBA had sought an interim injunction before a Federal High Court vacation judge in Abuja to stop enforcing the tinted glass permit. However, the judge declined the request... The refusal soon had consequences. Enforcement officers impounded Justice Ogunbowale’s vehicle under AIG Zone 5. Thereafter a Federal High Court sitting in Warri, Delta State ordered the Nigeria Police Force and the Inspector-General of Police to stop enforcing the tinted glass permit |

helinues:How is tinted glass an accessory to any of the insecurity challenges ravaging the country, is it bandit that ride in tinted cars or is it boko haram that ride tinted cars into villages to massacre If " $en$e" is not missing, why should " tinted glass " be police priority over " okada" ... terrorist, bandits use bike to eneoute the forest the police can't come up with stringent measures to address that TBH Tinubu have only come to inflict hardship upon this country .. even our police have been reduced to Revenue generating entreprise, the sole aim of pushing Tinted permit is to make money of Nigerians Tinubu n his team sit every day thinking of what to tax n extort Nigerians |

| Re: Court Bars Police From Enforcing Tinted Glass Regulation by Esthered: 2:38pm On Oct 03, 2025 |
Lawyers woke up because a judge fell victim. If the judge wasn't a victim, they wouldn't have gone to court. |

OMBIIGA:I don't agree with you people who launder weapons or arm robbers can still drive in non-tinted cars and operate easily, they rarely display their weapons in the passenger carriage Nothing stops the police from flagging down any car they suspect, for inspections whether tinted or not most cars are tinted to control light rays and heat from the sun |
| Re: Court Bars Police From Enforcing Tinted Glass Regulation by chidiokay: 2:47pm On Oct 03, 2025 |
helinues:i knew you wil go for kidnappers ... i am sure you are above 20yrs @least .. at the time " one chance" trended was it tinted car they use ... danfo, public bus were use to kidnap people the chibok gurls kidnapped by boko haram was it tinted car they used .. you cant defend Apc n make sense The gurl that got raped n die inside BRT bus ... was the glass tinted All a kidnapper needs to get victim to cooperate is just a gun, they are just being myopic , i can kidnap you, force you into the car boot nd get away in a clear glass car Since police are focused on tinted cars |

helinues:The registration is not the problem. 1. Why do I have to go to their office for biometrics when my car documents and NIN can be verified? 2. Why must I pay 15k online for it? and 3. Why should I pay yearly to renew it? The police are not a revenue-generating agency of government. |
| Re: Court Bars Police From Enforcing Tinted Glass Regulation by tnerro1(m): 2:55pm On Oct 03, 2025 |
I did mine online and it was so easy and I printed it out and is now in my car, but no one don stop me sha cause maybe na very light tints |

Lionnation:Na coz you no dey Abuja to hear the gory stories from the victims of 'One chance' that's why you are saying this. 101% of those cars used tinted glasses |
| Re: Court Bars Police From Enforcing Tinted Glass Regulation by oyeraff: 3:01pm On Oct 03, 2025 |
So, meaning that once you have tinted permit you can move on without searching your vehicle, this tinted permit is more of revenue generation rather than security and again to be renewed yearly like vehicle particular and vehicle insurance, more chopping for police on the road than security of citizen, where is the country security adviser? |

One Henessy for you my brother. All the ones they have been enforcing did it reduce any crimes or improve security? Rather insecurity is getting worse and some bandits and kidnappers even have the guts to negotiate with sitting governors fully armed during the meeting. How can you negotiate with someone who kills another human like a fowl? Shouldn't the plan be to eliminate this bloodthirsty heartless 💔 people ![]() Nigeria is already gone. We cant even farm. We can't even travel freely for those that cant afford to fly by air. We need to fight this insecurity very aggressively and decisively. Its not by enforcing tinted permit. Its a money making avenue every new IG impose to make money. fixedhollies: |

The one I did will expire in April 2026. I will not renew it once it expires. The only thing that they will make me renew it is if crooks in uniform request for it, I will do the renewal in thier presence ![]() |

Again, you nigerians are so downtrodden that you don't understand basic rights. Vehicles are already registered with the government annually. If you need any extra "registration" for the tint, simply add a line to the existing license indicating if tinted or not. WHY DE FOK DOES THE FOKKING POLICE NEED AN EXTRA AMOUNT OF MONEY PER YEAR FOR THAT? helinues: |
