Difficult Question but the foundation must be tackled first which are:

1. Secure the country,
2. Make Institutions stronger and Independent from politicians,
3. Improve Power

Nigeria is a country blessed with talent, resources, and resilience — yet it continues to struggle under the weight of bad leadership, corruption, and poor governance. From unreliable electricity to the rising cost of living, it sometimes feels like every sector is crying out for help.

Now imagine this: you suddenly become the President of Nigeria — but only for one week. You have full control to make key decisions, sign executive orders, and implement reforms. No bureaucracy, no political godfathers — just seven days to make a difference.

What would you fix first?

Would you focus on the economy, to bring down the price of food and fuel?
Would you tackle security, ensuring that citizens can travel freely without fear of bandits or kidnappers?
Or maybe you’d go straight to education, reviving schools, paying teachers well, and making universities work again?

Some Nigerians say they would start by cutting government salaries and reducing the cost of governance. Others believe the first step should be arresting corrupt politicians and recovering looted funds. A few even argue that constitutional reform is the only real solution to Nigeria’s endless cycle of problems.

Whatever your opinion, one thing is clear — most Nigerians know exactly what they want fixed; they just haven’t had the power to do it.

So, let’s hear from you
If you had just one week as Nigeria’s President, with total authority to act, what’s the first thing you’d change and why?
All the money present at the federal account and reserve at the time of assuming the office should be transferred to my account

Slash all salaries and allowances for all Federal and State Civil Servants, starting from mine.

Announce public bids for supply of medical and school materials.

Increase salaries of Teachers in public schools by 200%.

Increase salaries of medical staff in govt hospitals by 150%.

Offer a lifetime payment in gold bars to the person that brings me 10 names of funders of Boko Haram and IPOB.

It'll sure be a busy week for me and Nigeria 😌

Firstly, electoral reforms esp the removal of the authority and power of the president and state governors to select and appoint INEC officials including the national chairman and the SIEC chairman!

Secondly, most of the core structures that are currently on the exclusive list will be modified to the concurrent list!

The Justice system is the first point of call. Critical Reforms in the Judiciary, Police, and correctional centers.

Any country where some persons cannot be held accountable by the law through the court because of bribery and corruption that country is already a failed country.

So yes the Justice system.

The first thing i will do is to set up a committee that would do a complete change on our educational curriculum across board. This curriculum will portray our history, and include solution driven learning.

Then all educational institution in Nigeria MUST adhere strictly to it including the so called British and American schools.

All government schools will be expanded in classes and also QUALITY.

Education will also be free.

The skewed and lopsided political structure created by Northern military dictators.

I am not going to be like Bola Ahmed Tinubu who campaigned for 13 years for political restructuring of Nigeria but when he became president and capable of restructuring NIgeria politically, he became numb and dumb.

I'll invite both home and abroad petroleum products experts, to breakdown the percentage of all petroleum products deposited in a barrel of crude oil and how much sum is used to refine it, and price of fuel per litre will be sold for one hundred naira, because the ghost subsidy and its claim of removal are responsible for hyper inflation and joblessness, and these birthed kidnapping, armrobbery etc

I'll suspend all federal capital projects and make review on which one to continue and stop those ones that are outdated to civilisations.

Then you'll live with the Fulanis that will keep sacking your villages and kidnapping and raping your people. Igbos are never your problem but you all made it look like what you want it to look like.
I can only sense a feeling of being offended by my sincerity.

Those killing Igbos in the South East are not Fulanis. Gentle Yahoo and his likes are not Fulani.
I am wondering why you choose not happy. I will gladly allow Igbos to have their own separate country if I become President today.

The first thing I will do is making education free and compulsory for every Nigerians. Both old and young must get access to quality education.

Quality education is the bedrock of every nation that dreams of greatness.
LoL,with which money do you want to use to make education free?

Do you know how much it will even cost to spearhead such a program?

For such a program to function it will require trillions of naira which we don't have, ordinary fuel subsidy they couldn't continue.

Make una they use una number 6.

Tackle insecurity brutality, i mean I'll put 100% of my energy to tackle it.

Nothing grows where we have security issues

1. No investor will be interested

2. Low productivity cos of fear especially in remote farming areas

3. Housing challenges, because people will prefer to keep clustering together rather than spread out to build and live (land and house process will skyrocket as excess people are competing for few lands and houses)

4. Talented people will keep leaving the country in droves cos of fear of their lives

5. The list goes on....
