A president won't be a president without the people he governs.
Fix insecurity and ensure zero tolerance for banditry , robbery , kidnapping. Proper tracking and intelligence gathering to eliminate the people involve. Death penalty to bandits kidnappers and robbers (including government officials who steal with pen)
If insecurity is fixed people will go to farm, night life will come up ,food will be available and the economy will pickup . From there other things can follow including education,. The main problem of Nigeria is insecurity.

Nigeria is a country blessed with talent, resources, and resilience — yet it continues to struggle under the weight of bad leadership, corruption, and poor governance. From unreliable electricity to the rising cost of living, it sometimes feels like every sector is crying out for help.

Now imagine this: you suddenly become the President of Nigeria — but only for one week. You have full control to make key decisions, sign executive orders, and implement reforms. No bureaucracy, no political godfathers — just seven days to make a difference.

What would you fix first?

Would you focus on the economy, to bring down the price of food and fuel?
Would you tackle security, ensuring that citizens can travel freely without fear of bandits or kidnappers?
Or maybe you’d go straight to education, reviving schools, paying teachers well, and making universities work again?

Some Nigerians say they would start by cutting government salaries and reducing the cost of governance. Others believe the first step should be arresting corrupt politicians and recovering looted funds. A few even argue that constitutional reform is the only real solution to Nigeria’s endless cycle of problems.

Whatever your opinion, one thing is clear — most Nigerians know exactly what they want fixed; they just haven’t had the power to do it.

So, let’s hear from you
If you had just one week as Nigeria’s President, with total authority to act, what’s the first thing you’d change and why?
Just one week the solution is eazy, cut the cancer so that when i leave it'll not keep spreading, if you park into a dirty house you'll clean it to be habitable. Then I'll look for a man like Nehemiah in the bible to continue with cleansing and reform's.i know you thought theirs no good men and women in Nigeria but they are out there both in Islam and Christianity and in all tribes they are not been giving opportunity and they'll not be given. The problem of Nigeria is right leadership, Nigeria citizens are most obedient and flexible

Conduct a referendum on who wants to remain in this contraption or who wants out. The conduct would be via NIN/BVN within 48hrs of my tenure and the results therefrom would be implemented in less than 24hrs. angry🤬😠

I don't know if this is practicable in a week, I will appoint top people who I trust and have the same (or greater) vision as me in sensitive positions in one or two days, then use the remaining five days to totally change the constitution.

Just focus on Vocational education study and improve the electricity

In this century, all these University, colleges, polytechnic are pure waste of time because after you finished there is no job.

With vocational education, as you are studying, you are already making money without being a liability to anyone.

The celebrities, you have no idea how much they are paying their make up artist, personal assistant, managers which are jobs you don't learn in tertiary, they are vocational study learning. If there are more people into it, it will create more job opportunities
I think that’s what Tinubu administration just did, all Technical schools are free now

You want to down play the deaths instigated by Nnamdi Kanu in the South West?!

Kwara State is not a Yoruba State.

Igbos say they want to be left to themselves and I said I will gladly do that for them if I become President but you are still not satisfied.
Bandits just overran the Nigerian army with lots of catches in their possession but Kanu is your problem...
It's all well and good Sha, I hope we can all push for the igbos to go away so we can have a breather with our Fulani brothers but like I'll always tell everybody that cares to listen, IGBOS ARE NEVER YOUR PROBLEM.

All I said is I will give Igbos their wish if made President which automatically means Kanu being released as a fulfilment of his wish. You are the one bringing up issues.

I will invite the US to annex Nigeria as part of its territory, just as Puerto Rico is US Territory

That will automatically makes all Nigerian Citizens US Citizens..

The US will sort out the rest

One bullet to kill a billion birds grin

Our useless politicians will rest, and the citizens will also rest...Let the US have all the nation's natural resources that the politicians have cornered to themselves since independence, while we all become US Citizens.....A very fair trade if you ask me, in contrast to our politicians cornering everything even for their unborn generations undecided

China's empire is still untested by wars, unlike the US....Shiny unused toys don't necessarily equate strength

Besides, the Chinese detest blacks....how many Black Chinese citizens have you seen?

How many blacks have been Governors and Presidents in China? huh
