There is a big difference between being confident and being sure. Nobody knows for sure among all humanity who passed, wether they are in heaven or hell. What Charlie Kirk's wife has done is what all grieving relatives do to help them cope, which is to somehow believe that thier loved one is in heaven. Even here in Nigerian funerals we do the same thing.

Due to His kindness God set rules for the descendants of these two criminals regarding how to regain everlasting life that Adam and Eve lost and at the same time He gave us the means to get there {John 3:16} these are like UNDERSERVED KINDNESS or GRACE for descendants of these two criminals not automatically qualification to earn what our parents lost rather kindness to sinful humans.

That's why Paul that you are quoting told his fellow believers:

You talked about grace, quoted 3:16 and yet ended your argument by contradicting yourself. Salvation is a free gift from God to mankind. You can't earn nor add to it. Jesus paid for it in full... you have only got to receive it by faith and work out (live out) your salvation by living a life of obedience to God's word.

The passage you quoted, Philippians 2:12, didn't and never asked you to "work for your salvation", but to live out your salvation through work. And the "fear and trembling" mentioned is in relation to what he earlier mentioned in verse 10 and 11 of the same chapter of the Bible.

Phil.2.12 - Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. (NLT)

I know that JW think and believe that preaching/teaching from door to door will earn them salvation. That's not true , which you can deduce from all the scriptures I have given you so far. Salvation cannot be earned by accumulating hours spent in the field preaching.

There are many effective ways of preaching the gospel aside door to door evangelism. By the way, I and many others have engaged in that in your approved type of evangelism at some point or the other.I may not have your kind of bags, but I go out for evangelism sometimes alone, sometimes with a group. Sometimes we move from person or group of persons to persons etc... there's no restriction whatsoever in the scriptures as to the method that the gospel should be propagated.

Back to the heart of the matter, preaching the gospel, in as much as it's important, cannot earn you salvation. Salvation is received, free of charge. To you guys, you cann commit all sorts of atrocities and wickedness, but so long as you preach door-to-door, you will make paradise. That's a lie! Receive the free gift of God, Jesus, into your life today!

You are still majoring on the minor, while ignoring the weightier things of the scriptures. You are just grappling at straws to justify JW teachings, not biblical truths. You quoted Mathew 28:19-20, the great commission by Jesus Christ, as your stand for the justification of door-to-door preaching as the only accepted method of spreading the good news. I asked you to show me where it mentioned 'door-to-door" and you couldn't provide any evidence of that.

There's no record of the early disciples preaching from door-to-door. Apostles and disciples like Paul preached in the market places, synagogues, homes etc. Door-to-door evangelism is effective, no argument about that, but it's not the only effective way of spreading the gospel of Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. By the way, how do you preach door-to-door in a place like Afghanistan or Saudi Arabia? Or are we not supposed to reach them with the gospel?
