Of course, they have the rights to set their priorities by themselves 👇 "We love football, it is in our blood. But we are missing the foundations. Sure, let’s build stadiums, but let’s also build our education and health systems. Unfortunately here in Nigeria, we are not unanimous in our priorities. Each region/tribe has its own priority and they will rather pursue it than dwelling on any nationwide priority. |

I thought FIFA provides money to sponsor the hosting tourney Or am I wrong? Btw, hosting such huge tournaments provides job opportunities and adds a lot to the country's economy |

“I am protesting because I want my country to be better. I don’t want to leave Morocco, and I don’t want to resent my country for choosing to stay,” said 25-year-old communications manager Hajar Belhassan. Unfortunately, in my Country, we don't look at the message, we look at who made the comment. Is he Igbo, Yoruba, or Hausa? Then, others who have long since left the country and are enjoying good governance in an organised country with their families will praise a failed government, while those suffering in Nigeria will support it. We are not ready yet. |

Such protests could hardly succeed in Nigeria because no unity. The politicians have infiltrated their ranks to believe that each ethnic nationality hate the other. See what's happening now. No unity. Trade Fair complex is viewed as a conglomeration of southeast Business interests. Therefore, the demolition of their wares and complexes is entirely theirs. So, says Lagosians of southwest extraction. Until this hateful attitude is stopped, nothing tangible is expected to come from the people to chart a common front. |

Genuine concern. At least the government and its supporters won’t be able to point fingers at the opposition for it. |
