Corruption is imbedded in every systems of government of the world. Our own in Africa is more obvious due to high level, lack of accountability and generational poverty.

The same useless COASTAL ROAD of this Government is what this same Morocco Youths are protesting....

Nigerian own is even worse of it all....

You removed Subsidy from health..

Removed Subsidy from education ( student loan is not for South Easterners and South Southerners)

Removed Subsidy from Fuel

Resulting in inflation of food prices, all goods and services

Removed Subsidy from Electricity.....

And after all these, the first thing you thought to do to reduce the sufferings of the Nigerian citizens is to build COASTAL ROAD.....

The same you that was laughing at your friend who has 10 cars but have sold many of them because of your wicked policies....

Tell me the cars that Nigerians will use to drive through the Coastal roads when a car sold at #1.5M in 2022 is now sold at #4.3M in 2025..

Yet Nigerians are busy having patience for what actuallyhuh??

Very funny country!!!!!!

These are the youths with senses. Here in Nigeria, the same lazy youth will defend govt officials spending billions to renovate International Conference Center ICC in Abuja while abandoning health Care system. Same youths will defend govt officials buying houses in abroad with millions dollar for his children and wives while neglecting housing deficit in Nigeria. Same youth defending them don't have single room in his name .

The protest is actually not about corruption; it's about prioritizing spendings. They said they wanted Hospitals and not stadiums.
Re: “No World Cup,Health Comes First” Morocco Youths Protest $2BN World Cup Stadium by Emusan(m): 1:36pm On Oct 06, 2025
If it's Nigeria, APC supporters would've written 101 reasons why the stadium and World Cup will improve their economy when in reality, this will never add 1% to the economy and over 90% of the citizens won't benefit a dime from it.

But if that $2B is well utilized more than 30% of the citizens will benefit from it.

They know what they want and go for it.
Over here the drug baron s foot soldiers who are also victims of his misrule would have wiped up ethnic sentiments to divide the youths. They are a very wicked and soulless bunch. They prefer the stipends the drug lord offers them to actually demanding a better country.

No if Na nigeria, another group will start protesting against them, after collecting money from same politicians that put them in the same poverty.

quote author=Nteogwuija post=137034311]If na Nigeria now them for don tag dem Obedients or haters of Nigeria.

Funny thing is that these people who refer to anyone who criticizes the gov't as Obedients are same people who demonized GEJ and no one called them names.[/quote]

The Permanent Secretary, Office of Drainage Services and Water Resources in Lagos State, Mahmood Adegbite, has said that people drilling borehole in the Lekki axis of the state is probably drinking ‘’shit water.”

While speaking at a stakeholders meeting in the state recently, Adegbite noted that contaminated boreholes in Lekki pose health risk and added that treatment of waste water would eradicate any form of disease that may arise from it.

He said, “On waste water treatment, I will say that everyone digging borehole within the Lekki axis is probably drinking what I will call ‘shit water.’

However, in Nigeria, we are celebrating Akpabio for giving his people a world-class stadium and not a world-class health facility.

Something is fundamentally wrong with us in this country!

I think so,or maybe it's enshrined in whatever oath they take before entering office or something because come on broooooooo,One has to be Conscientiously dead, spiritually dead to want to build a 2B Dollar stadium while women are dying in Maternity wards for lack of proper and"Adequate" healthcare.. I mean this is the height of it all. While I salute their courage and conviction to protest, let them do so within the confines of the Law.
My 50cents though...

And this is a country that is leagues ahead of Nigeria in every index of life, living and development yet they are not satisfied. They look to better countries and want more.

Here their country men will berate them, gaslight them and brow beat them into accepting rock bottom living standards. Making all manner of excuses for the very people who oppress them.

Here my people are robbed, violated and terrorized on a daily basis yet every case is termed as isolated and acceptable.

It is all about the mentality of a people. A republican mindset will have little appetite or tolerance for bad governance, corruption or feudalism. A conquered mindset will lash out at whoever attempts to escape the crab bucket.

They should also fight for the release of the only colony in Africa. Morocco is currently occupying a large part of Western Sahara and they're milking the land of it's resources whiles keeping the Western Saharans in destitution.
