Iran has introduced a new type of long range drone called Gaza.

The drone was probably modeled after the US MQ-9 Reaper that Tehran hacked and captured intact few years back over Iranian airspace.

The Gaza can stay airborne for 35 hours, clock 200km per hour. It has a maximum range of 4000 km and can carry 12 munitions.

The preparation for the Israel/Iran rematch is getting hotter everyday.

Lol, I am never going to agree with the it was worse than the Nigerian security forces MO. I have only seen those things as trending on twitter, I haven't watched any of the videos. Anyways, to the below.....

I don't know why people tend to see the US as a kind of demi god that does no wrong. Maybe it is justify their own obviously worse standard or something else, I wouldn't know.
The mere fact that the concept of justice, fairness, equity, as we know it today originated from democratic America does not mean no wrong can be done in USA.

Justice, equity and fairness is a concept that human beings forever chase and will always continue to chase.

But one thing is clear: When these things occur in the US and the west, majority of people whose rights are trampled upon in most cases get justice (anyhow you define it). This can rarely be said of other jurisdictions. Not too long, police were still killing people for #20 on our roads.

At least, we all saw what happened to Derek Chauvin for kneeling down on George Floyd and causing his death. Chauvin is still in prison. It's very clear that he never intended to cause George's death.

So, if we can condemn US for the current ICE MO, why don't we also take a leaf from how Derek Chauvin's case was handled. But the only thing that is rampant in our own societies are the kind of ICE MO, we never or rarely see the likes of Derek Chauvin.

If we are looking up to western standards, common sense dictates that we shouldn't follow hook, line and sinker.

I know you are kind of playing some plays here but let's still argue it.

To begin with, Salt's reasoning and that quote is quite shallow. Maybe we should go back to the social contract theory where we find the legal basis for the existence of a constitution and all other laws. Simply put, governmental actions, as long as it is within limits, whether good or bad are what the people have agreed to be governed by. It doesn't matter whether it looks criminal or not. Take for instance: Have you ever noticed how Intelligence agencies and other security agencies work? They are nothing more than the accepted version of criminals. They break the law to protect the law. Their breaking of the law is accepted by the people because it is necessary to protect the law.

Why are they screaming human rights violations when they know they are not perfect?

This shouldn't go to the US but the entirety of the United Nations. Concept of Human right was rarely reckoned with until the end of the second world war. With the establishment of the UN, it becomes a responsibility for the powers that be at then to carry the mantle of the agreements and resolutions and whatever else drafted at that time. The fact that the remaining permanent members of the security council choose to neglect their duties because of enmity with the US shouldn't be a reason for the US to neglect its own duty. So, it's not about screaming human rights violations, it's about duty and responsibility without which we all know that we would have had countless Rwanda Tutsi and Hutu repeats. Seeking perfection from any nation is a wild goose chase.

Why are European Leaders quiet?

Well, that's the only part of your question am afraid I am unable to provide an immediate answer to.

Why is Senator Ted Cruz not saying anything about people's rights being violated in his country?

You can't tell me you have listened to every Senator Ted Cruz's correspondences. And Senator Ted probably can't talk about everything. If Cruz isn't talking about it, I am sure other senators are talking about it. Why must it be Red Cruz?

⚔Ukrainian commander Oleg Huyt says Israel’s RADA radars, first supplied to Ukraine to spot Russian drones, were later sold to Russia, letting Moscow reverse the advantage and shoot down more Ukrainian UAVs.

The radars — ieMHR multi-mission AESA systems from Israeli firm RADA Electronic Industries — were first delivered to Ukraine in May 2023 via Lithuania’s ā€œRADAROM!ā€ campaign.

Breaking the law to uphold the law is one of the very reason the Nigerian security agencies are in the position they are today, where exactly do we draw the line ?
What happens to our civil liberties if the security agencies can break the law while upholding the law ?
Your first paragraph also translate, the Nigerian security agencies have the right to violate your privacy by going through your phone or a suspect can be tortured even if he's right or wrong.

I believe these are serious discussions we should really have if the country is going to move forward.

Yes, it appears only the US and some European countries are more interested in upholding the human rights Standard, the Russians and the Chinese are not really concerned. That very standard is why I'm critical of the US and the Europeans for not speaking up.
Perhaps it's a Trump thing, have you seen videos from Portland ?
I couldn't believe my eyes, this is the same US Biden ruled less than a year ago.

Hmmmm...

The day will come when I can finally tell you what really happened in Doha, Qatar, on September 9—and why, right after that, a sudden ā€œdealā€ with Hamas appeared.

One thing’s for sure: it’s the exact opposite of what the media is trying to sell you.

The outcome of the attack was precisely as planned.
And if you think Netanyahu didn’t coordinate this strike with Trump—you don’t understand the nature of their relationship.

That said, it is no longer wild to speculate that Putin has been blocking the delivery of the Su-35s to Iran.
Everything he has delivered since the end of the 12D war, he could have delivered prior.
From Mig-29s to S400.
China sent cargo planes to Iran during the war, part of which was delivery of advanced tech to secure Iranian communications, and since then he's been antsy.
Israel noticed the planes and couldn't dare attack the shipments.

The leak pointed to an order book of 48 Su-35s to Iran with a 18-24 months delivery schedule in the middle of the Ukraine war.
Fair to say, most if not all could and should have been sent prior to the 12D war.
Regardless of whatever demands Iran may have put forward.

That begs the question!! if civilians deaths are "inevitable" as you have rightly said, especially in an urban setting.

How come there's outrage in the thread over "ineluctable" civilians deaths in Gaza while also factoring that the war being fought is an asymmetric warfare also in an urban setting

Have you talked about the IDF other strikes that have successfully neutralize terrorist targets without incurring civilian casualties??
How many IDF strikes have been conducted that didn't involve killing civilians? That Hasbara media deliberately surpresses the civilian casualties doesn't mean they don't occur. We get full reports from Aljazeera every day.

That said, I also told you that we could pretend all those strikes were aimed at Hamas and not their 'human shields.' What then do we say about the hundreds of children with Sniper gunshots in their chests and pubis? How about those that were shot while queing for food? How about the deliberate starvation? The deliberate drone strikes on children? The ceaseless murders in the West bank? The examples are endless. Every objective mind can only arrive at one conclusion.
