I Employed a Maid from Hell” — Woman Cries Out as Maid Breaks Savings Box and Steals Money

A Nigerian woman has shared a frustrating ordeal after her housemaid allegedly broke into her savings box and stole a large sum of money, sparking outrage online.

The incident was shared in a viral TikTok video posted under the handle @anotherdaytogoharder, where the woman detailed her disappointment and disbelief.

Maid Allegedly Betrays Trust

The woman explained that she had treated her housemaid generously, paying her salary on time, giving extra cash, and providing meals. Despite this, she decided to let the maid go due to her poor cleaning skills.

Shortly after the maid left, the woman discovered that her savings box had been tampered with, and a significant portion of her money was missing.

In her viral video, she captioned the ordeal: “You employed a maid from hell.” She vented her frustration:

“THIS PEOPLE ARE GETTING BOLD!!!! I don’t even know how to feel!!!!!! To think someone I’ve been feeding and even giving money aside her salary can do this!!!!! She doesn’t know how to clean, I told her I’m letting her go. She went home, two days later I go to put money into this and I find this ‘kolo’ open. Yo!!!! She had the audacity to say she didn’t take it. I can’t even shout, I’m just pissed!!!!!!”

When confronted, the maid denied taking the money, leaving the woman shocked and angry at the audacity of the act.

They should provide two guarantor who must reside in that state and must be financially capable. Nobody would believe this woman because you didn't check for your savings b4 she left so you are on your own on this.
