Android17:Is Saka goal an offside goal if you look at it critically well. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Android17: 9:15pm On Oct 04, 2025 |
mine3112:He was. At the moment Rice's foot made an impact on the ball, freeze the frame, you'll see Saka was behind the last defender. So it didn't matter that the player touched the ball a little before he [Saka] took possession of it. |

mostob:Do you start recording the foul when the contact started or when it ended/impedes the player? You think VAR will wake up one Saturday afternoon and decide to favour Arsenal all of a sudden? |

She should have separated the Fans from the Club Management issues she has... More like Ozil, Auba issues with Arsenal management but never trolled or shade the Club or the fans |

MSGAMBLE9:Both still get subbed off due to injury bro. Arsenal are the one who makes Liverpool seems good. They fumbled several times last year but we didn't capitalise. I trust Pep. |

mostob:Exactly. How can someone have injuries to the same shoulder under same circumstance within the space of weeks. I hope he comes back stronger and let the injury not pass more than 4 weeks. We will need him as I’m not entirely ruling out Man City and Chelsea in the race yet. |

I like saka alot, but we need to talk about why he refused to hand over the penalty kick to viktor. I understand he wanted to cap his achievement with a goal but a standing law should supercede any self goal. Stuff like this can break the team bond, there are rumours arteta and his coaching team met with the team before they embark on international and insisted viktor is still the main penalty taker. We need team effort abeg not some personal achievement |

As for the women, this season is over They can't do shiit in ucl, hopefully they get either of fa cup or continental cup if not the coach should start packing her stuff |

Roland17:You are really fixated on Jonas ( what did he do to you).... But you really need to learn how NWSL operate, it's a league of Hills and Valleys; Teams that dominate the first half don't normally/rarely do well after the break and his team San Diego are not only one in this as Thorns, Pride struggles ( all early high flyers) and Spirits & Angels, Gotham who really struggled earlier on are now flying after the restart has shown... American Soccer is different from European football where there are top 2 / 3 / 4 or mid table tier team... His Side' has done enough during the first half of the season to cement play off placement... How far he goes from depends on his big players fitness and turn up ( Dali, Corley and Cascarino)... |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by MSGAMBLE9: 11:35am On Oct 07, 2025 |
iamoyindamola:The issues with them is that they failed to strengthened their glaring weaknesses ( CB and DM positions)... when I talked about it on Reddit, X and even here the clap back has always been " oh they won the CL and that"... Cup run can be a bit deceptives as Chelsea 2x UCL, Wigan and recent United has shown when they struggled in the league... Add that to the Manager poor decisions making... Reid has been the best player this season, you dropped her for Lotte that can't go whole 90mins without making a comical error; against Shaw and Viv?... Their best and most creative player is tired moreso playing her away from goal in double pivot is not ideal I would not rule them out of UWCL and Cup competitions but the League? Chelsea only dropped 6 points last season and Arsenal have dropped 7 already... They would need to beat Chelsea twice now and even then they would be helping City massively ( if City stays healthy) |

MSGAMBLE9:We actually strengthen the defence, but we didn't buy any midfielder and goalkeeper which I felt was important As if I knew those keepers ain't good enough |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by MSGAMBLE9: 12:16pm On Oct 07, 2025 |
iamoyindamola:How did they strengthened the defence? Goalkeeping wasn't an issue even if DvD shakiness as been surprising, moreover they brought in Borbe, who was Wolfburg no 1 at latter stage of last season |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by MSGAMBLE9: 2:56pm On Oct 07, 2025 |
iamoyindamola:No CB was signed last window....for Hinds; she's a full back that was justified to the fans as player that can also play CB & DM but that is a lie ( she is shorter than Mcabe and Fox; using her as CB would be inviting disaster when even with LFC injuries in the last 2 years they never tried such)... Fox is been runned to the ground even when the club knows she has no natural replacement in the team; alas we were told Left-footer Hinds could played there but alas Fox has played every single minutes this season ![]() They are not running the club in such a way to compete with Chelsea and for major honours... Last season UWCL triumph was a miracle and a shocker I had them behind Chelsea and City for the title except City suffered injuries they will struggle the 3 position for me.... |
