We'll revisit that argument someday. There was a time when earning 500k monthly made you middle class . Right now with 1m you'll just be managing, unless you don't go out at all, and you have low societal tastes.

Lifestyle determines a lot too sha. Because some people are still earning 100k monthly, and have four children in this country, I don't know how they're doing it. Was it not few days ago the governor of oyo state increased salary of some personnel to 80k .

I just see some things sometimes, and wonder how is this person surviving, is he using magic or are we not in the same country?

It is an NSAID as well. Daily use increases risk of renal impairment.

Away from that, taking Ibuprofen before exercise might increase further injury risk.

If you absolutely have to do it, take the lowest dose possible, and preferably wait until after the exercise to see if you really need it. Also keep a close eye on your renal function and check it a couple of times at least a year.

My advice would be to avoid daily use sha. You can focus your workout on pool exercises and stationary bike exercises that minimise stress on the knee.

When I was still on rental, the place I used to stay, my landlord was staying in the building, he relocated from there to one remote area with the excuse that cost of living is too high.

Do you know what it means for a landlord to run away from his own house and move to a remote area where he'll be paying rent? For context this man was making over 400k monthly, and he still couldn't keep up. I wonder how he's coping now.

This APC government has made many people conservative. I know many people that haven't rode their cars in months. Like they just parked their cars in their compounds like that, and be using bolt and bike.


Really unfortunate situation because as a man you can never stop spending. The advise I'll give everyone is to try and have multiple incomes. You can't live comfortably on one income. One for investment, one for day-to-day use, and one for cruise/enjoyment.


Try and secure a job where you won't be there every time like few days a month( requires connection, but it is what it is) , then have some investments that give you returns weekly or on a monthly basis, and also have a skill that you can utilize online.

If you collate the lump time spent on other social apps such as Tiktok, Instagram and twitter by many people it trumps mine.

I'm an indoor person, I return from work, it's either I'm on Nairaland,small activity on twitter, read a book or watching anime.

If you can remember I even spoke on this few months ago when I said someone close to me bought a new Benz, and in over two months he didn't drive it more than twice, making me wonder why he bothered buying the car.

This one na local government levies/tenement rate. Most private citizens don't pay (at least in Lagos that I know o) , so they usually focus on corporate organizations to enforce collection. (Imagine collecting TV and radio levy from an office )

I remember where I once worked on Lagos Island, when the revenue officers of Lagos Island LGA come for collection it's usually a game of bargaining between them and our Head of finance before they eventually agree on what to pay. Dem dey carry receipt/invoice around, so they will change whatever they've written initially on their demand notice they brought with them to something lower which was agreed during the haggling process.

I doubt if the money actually gets to where it ought to sha cos the process of collection is suspect.

Even the Corolla there are people struggling to fuel it. A lot of cars you see on the road, na friends dey fuel them. The owners don't have money for eating enough talk less of fueling motor.
