are you implying that the lifestyle of Christ is not a religion? If yes, how come "Christianity" is a religion?

Thoughtful and reflective question I just say.

My response is found in Matthew 5:17
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them".
Jesus isn't creating sth new.
He was born a Jew and died a Jew.
He wasn't reckoned to have broken any Jewish law where he was challenged by the elites of his time.
In all, his decisions prevailed.

He came to unravel the nuances within the same old law that has been blinded by fixed religion adherents as held by the Pharisees of his time.(Matthew 5:20).

Truth is when you place "Religion" beside what "True Christianity " really is, then you'll understand that Christianity is more than just a religion but someone like Mr Truthseeker and several others will never understand this so they keep hammering at it. How you are separating your day to day activities and way of life from great devotion and worship to God that makes up your definition of religion makes me wonder if you are truly a Christian. I have asked you severally if there are day to day aspect of our lives that are outside the scope of belief in God and the worship and great devotion to God, but you've been unable to mention any. So I still wonder how your day to day activities can be separated from the obvious religion that you are practicing which is Christianity.

Laws are "likened" to Religion(as existed before Jesus).
Jesus Fulfilment is likened to his interpretation of the law which is is shown in his way of life for 3yrs(lifestyle).

Vs18-19, he emphasised the importance of the law itself followed to the letter(Religion)
Vs 20, he made more difference between righteousness of the Pharisees(Law) and a higher form of righteousness( as shown in his way of life).

Like the maths equations😁
