If you are a first class student, scholarship holder, PhD student or have B2 in German then your appointment is within 2-8weeks

You would be given test based on your previous studies, if you are in science probably maths and another science subject.

Your passport needs to be valid for 6 more months for your visa to be issued.

I am talking about studies not Ausbildung. B2 works on the study Portal, if you tick you have a B2 in German the waiting time decreases to 2-8weeks

It doesn’t take more than one year for everyone. Those going for PhD or having scholarships or 1st class or B2 in German don’t wait for a year plus

To apply for fast track as a first class student, click on partial scholarship and then upload your first class certificate as the documentation for the scholarship.
