Very lovely innovation. Please they should sort alternate internet, especially use Elon’s Starlink cos Nigerian govt might want to use local telecom companies to frustrate the process |

The evidence the app will make public will be useless in nigerian courts so what's the use? |

Me that I'm super critical. Surprisingly I'm impressed with what I've seen so far after creating a dummy account. The issue now is how to defend it against the mercenaries from political parties and politicians. I already see a scenario where politicians and/or political parties will initiate a DDOS against the domain on election day. Put this behind cloudflare and possibly have a mobile app that connects over VPN for validated polling unit observers |

This will still not stop INEC from rigging elections for politicians. INEC remains the only umpire empowered by law to declare winners in any election. So, CITIZENS MONITOR may have authentic results, but the court of law in their usual GHANA-MUST-GO influenced judgements will still find dubious grounds to fail Nigerians. You see, unless INEC is reformed......... |

Uchedeformula:Exactly. Whatever comes from Citizens Monitor will not even be regarded in the court of law. |

This is fantastic and if well utilized we improve our elections and increase voter confidence in the process and results. Kudos to the developers and sponsors of this initiative |

Waste of time...not admissible in a court of law. It is not under our law, and it is useless to the judiciary. If INEC can provide papers signed by all parties, they will be admitted into evidence. They expect citizens to be taking pictures with phones...is that even allowed? Anyway, we shall see how Anambra will turn out. BluntCrazeMan: |

StPete:Let me see if I understood you well.. You mean, on that day, The Nigerian Government will shut the local Internet down, so that Nigerians cannot use the Internet, and thus cannot access the site? Or you mean the would block the website off from users from Nigeria?? Which one? |

Neddstark:You are pre-empting the judges of the court of law. So, stay there and continue to assume. |
| Re: Citizen Monitors Unveils Election-monitoring Web-App Ahead Anambra Gov Poll. by BluntCrazeMan(op): 5:56am On Oct 08, 2025 |
Uchedeformula:As the government is not ready to reform INEC or even the Electoral Laws, you think that the Citizens CANNOT do anything possible to have the reforms forced to be brought into existence? If the evil system boxed you into a tight corner, you will remain there in the tight corner? |

| Re: Citizen Monitors Unveils Election-monitoring Web-App Ahead Anambra Gov Poll. by BluntCrazeMan(op): 6:41am On Oct 08, 2025 |
Mrexcell:That presidential case was one of the first test of the Electoral-Act 2022. Many things had been exposed in the subsequent elections,, and many progresses had been made too. More progresses are still to be made before 2027., and that involves the impact of citizens-powered technologies on the credibility of elections.. |
