My friend, we are equal stake holders in the affairs of Lagos state.

Many of you came from the fringe states of southwest and Kwara. So,why the noise.

You should stop your posturings that Lagos exclude non Westerners as stakeholders. We are equal stakeholders in sharing the patrimony.

Note this for your own good!
You and who are stake holders of Lagos ....is hausa and Yoruba the stakeholder of Rivers state....this are languages that we eventually send u guyz parking from Lagos.... A tribe welcomes u from ur shanty to come do business and cos they give u the much needed freedom u start contending with them on their land cos u have investment there...is Lagos a eastern state...what language is been spoken in Lagos...
What kind of King do they have ...is it an Emir ?
You must be kidding yourself if you think Tinubu and the leadership in Lagos will let you succeeded with your take over plans...u guyz will be put where u deserve again and again

And yes other states in South west have a sy in Lagos cos they are Yorubas...ARE YOU A YORUBA??

If you have a problem with the development ...Go home!!!...thank you

cheesy

the Oba of Lagos has finally join the NURTW Lagos branch where hatred for Igbos grows and natured

Anyways, it's none of my business

I'm a traditional Annang man, Igbos don't like me either but I love them regardless
Where did you get the notion that Ndigbo don't like Annang?

Igbos are always trying to build bridges that will not stand. We are geographically, bloodily, physically and spiritually different in this country. The earlier we realize that the better. Yoruba is synonymous to ethnic bigotry. I have encountered some of them and it's always same story. Education does not remove that else the person may die. It's in their DNA.

Oba cannot ban anything. The only banning he can do is to engage his thugs to cause mayhem there

Tell Njoku to hire the Lagosians that just protested today to help her out.

Meanwhile, Iyaloja general didn't change anything in Benin, she only announced Iyaloja of Edo State in accordance with her office.
Which office is that by the way? Who voted her into the office? Just try that iyaloja nonsense and cross SE and see reciprocal madness. You dish put to others what you cannot take.

Tinubu's daughter went to Benin to change the culture of Benin people by installing Iya oloja. Heaven did not fall. Just a misspell of Owanbe to Owambe, my Yoruba landlords of Lagos took it personal because it's an Igbo woman involved.

It is well o!!
Hellooo, even the word Benin is a Yoruba word modified. The original phrase is 'ile ibinu'.

But come to think of it. How would you feel as an Igbo boy if a Yoruba lad decides to do an exhibition of Igbo culturehuh
We should always maintain ultimate and mutual respect for eachother and not always try to force ourselves on others and most especially in situations we can hardly tolerate.
What business does an Igbo person have organising an exhibition of Yoruba Culture?
Has any Yoruba person exhibited Hausa or Igbo culture before?

This tribalistic game that the Yorubas are playing is going to be their Waterloo, they don't know how low they are now until they are totally down.

Some of you are really den//sed in your sense of reasoning. There's is a difference between arts and culture. If you passed through education in Nigeria, you'll know that. She's doing an art exhibition of the lifestyle of Yoruba people which involves partying. She's not changing your culture for you. What Tinubu's daughter did in Benin is changing of culture which has long existed before her ancestors were born. You people should stop being jittery over nothing.

The Sanwo-Olu administration will always be remembered for the ethnic division he caused in Lagos.

Now we also have a 3rd class Oba talking about cultural misrepresentations.

It’s a really a sad time in history and I hope it is being documented by historians.

Never a time in the history of Lagos state as the Lagos state government pioneered hate and division among ethnic tribes.
I thought you guys saw it as fun and a new acceptable way of life, now you are unhappy that even the Oba is denigrating his palace by partaking in this online frivolity of preventing an art exhibition because of the ethnic group of the content creator because if this was to be an exhibition by a Tiv or Nupe artists I don't think it will attract this negative attention.
This is another low point for Lagos and Nigerians are watching keenly, all because of politics

And when someone says the yourubas are tribalistic, some people will start foaming in the mouth... anyway, here is an example. An Oba who is supposed to foster unity is doing this? Shame on him

You are right, some Igbo women don't like Annang girls because they snatch their boyfriends and husbands and the reason is because if an Annang girl wants an Igbo man she overwhelms him with the kind of attention he can't get from an average Igbo girl and they know how to keep the house tidy, so some Igbo women dread them when it comes to competing for a man even Peter Obi couldn't resist them in picking a wife while Senator Akpabio did the same thing on the other side cheesy

You guys said worst during Fashola's time. This is Lagos and I have not seen where any yoruba person is complaining about any of the Igbo governors. It is always your people who comes visiying and forget to mind their business.

I have seen a pattern for a while with some set of people saying lagosians and NOT yoruba,
Yorubas have been very accommodating history tells us they were the ONLY people (hopefully before IPOB change the narrative) that welcomed the ibos some handing over accumulated rent after taking care of their properties, as gratitude they got hate and name calling

IT DOESNT BELONG TO YORUBA PEOPLE.

This Igbo vs Yoruba rivalry sha. I hope it won't cause issues in 2027. Igbos should acknowledge that they are not indigenous to Lagos and they should respect the institutions there. The Yoruba should know that Lagos doesn't belong wholly to them. People from all over the country and beyond have labored to make Lagos what it is. The city enjoyed the privilege of being the federal capital for many decades, without which its development would have been far below its current state. Igbos have invested trillions in Lagos economy so they should be appreciated, while they themselves acknowledge the positive atmosphere their hosts enabled to make their investments viable. Shikenan
Well said 👍🏾💯

Are these people not ashamed of this pettiness? Ị am so sorry for the real lagosians, this fight is not just against igbos but more against them. They have been dominated totally by immigrants who now decide what happens in Lagos

With your education, it's amazing you couldn't see the fusion of arts and culture in this scenario. And you carelessly avoided the key question but citing an unrelated case. What has Iyaloja of Benin got to do with this situation?
The imposition of Iyaloja of Benin is political and has been duly rejected by the people of Benin.
The subject of discussion here is the portraying other people's culture in your exhibition, which to me is just overzealous and should be corrected. It's as simple as that! If you were knowledgeable enough, you would understand the issue cited "MISREPRESENTATION" in the petition submitted by the Oba of Lagos (that some of you referred to as 3rd class Oba, an Oba that none in your region can match his status or profile. NONE! An Oba that decides the fate of millions of you here in Lagos). This is how you undermine people's magnanimity in your foolhardiness.

The most surprising thing is that some people that like your comment makes it wonderful.

Listen to me today, you or your kids might end up victims of racial attack or profiling outside Nigeria one day in future when you must have forgotten all these evil you are supporting today out of senseless hatred.

When such happens, you and your likes should remember how you supported, cheered and encouraged tribal division in Nigeria for whatever reason you may think you have. Continue, but please note this down

She wants to insert YOUR PEOPLE'S culture into Lagos history and SW history which your unborn generations will use against the SW and lay claim to Lagos.

She's changing SW culture in favor of your unborn generations.

Sadly, the Oba will not be alive when this evil of division being crowned aggressively in Nigeria by the political class will begin to rule.

And some of these NL clowns supporting it may not escape the calamity of it all. Yall keep on.
the only calamity that can affect a tribe in Nigeria is when Tribe A leaves its own territory to go and attack Tribe B in Tribe B territory..

so unless YOUR PEOPLE attack SW PEOPLE there will be no calamity

but YOUR PEOPLE are already attacking the SW PEOPLE just that unlike the northern ter:rorists who use violence which is very obvious,

YOUR PEOPLE use politics, economics, culture, emotional blackmail e.t.c. which is not obvious and does not look like an attack unless a person understands how people attack others economically, politically e.t.c..

so the SW PEOPLE have to react now because if they don't then their unborn generations will be badly affected..
