Nollywood actress and filmmaker Bukky Amos-Bello is mourning the loss of her beloved father, Olaniyi Mofolorunsho Amos, whose passing she announced in an emotional Instagram post. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

Sharing a heartfelt photo of her late father, Bukky paid tribute to him as her “forever ajitannawo”, describing him as the best father, grandfather, and great-grandfather anyone could ask for. She expressed deep gratitude for his unwavering love, wisdom, and guidance, which she said greatly influenced her life and career.

A Promise Fulfilled

In her touching tribute, Bukky revealed that her father had once promised to live long enough to see her become a grandmother—a promise he kept before his passing. Reflecting on their final moments together, she wrote:

“The sparkles in your eyes when I gave you the news… Thank you for sharing your last moment with me. I’ll forever cherish those eyes that were wide open just for me.”

Though heartbroken, the actress found comfort in knowing her father fulfilled all his promises, leaving behind a legacy of love and strength.

A Daughter’s Farewell

She continued, “Today, Monday, 6th Oct 2025 @8:25 a.m., my clock stopped, my mirror shattered, my first love, my forever love, my world, my supporter, my role model, Babami… Sleep tight, Babami Alamu. O daaro, Babami — I will always love you.”

The post has since drawn an outpouring of condolences from fans, friends, and industry colleagues, all offering words of comfort and celebrating the remarkable life her father lived.
