We are currently making arrangements for my late grandfather's Burial, so I found this "rare heavy silver-like meteorite material" in his leather bag specially placed some where in his room.
What could this worth? I tried using google lens but am not getting a satisfactory answer

Hello op, I think I was wrong with my initial comment.

This is a rough, raw diamond, but it doesn't have much value, sadly. Sold around $60.

This is far from diamonds. The whitish appearance might indicate it is among one of the soft metals on the S-block of the periodic table.

Take it to the lab or gold market to identify it. Return home and do your research on the price before going out to sell once again.

It may bring some fortune or it may likely pay just your tfare and some change.

Do you know him, do you know where he stays and where he’s posting. He may not have physical individuals that may know about so coming here where there’s a lot of intellectual is his right option

That is likely an "industrial-grade diamond", if it is even confirmed to be a real diamond by a gemologist.

It does not command much value.
