Westberg, who is the Registrar of the university, speaking under oath, specifically told the court that he was seeing the Diploma certificate copy for the very first time in the instant proceedings.

For example, the witness admitted that the Institution had no board of trustees in 1979, as against the claim in the certificate Tinubu submitted to the electoral body.

When pressed on the signatures on other certificates issued in 1979 and the one Tinubu submitted to INEC, the witness admitted variations in signature, logo, and seal.

Specifically, Westberg pointed out that the signature on the replacement certificate of Tinubu matches certificates issued in the 1990s and not those of 1979, as claimed by the President.

You know, na their own people, they do because of politics and forced him to resign.

That's how some of them have been using crab mentality to play politics

All these intentional attempts by the actors that be in this irredeemable government of certificate forgers to whitewash the state of affairs of this country by damage control would not change it's true state.

Why not continue with the crab mentality, let's see what you will achieve with it.

You don't do because of politics and bring your own people down. It's illogical. Same way una sided Rufai against Umahi

Minimum requirements for most public office in Nigeria is O' level. But in reality, nobody is ready to give any portfolio to a school certificate holder.

Very dubious people we have in power and politics...

If it is an ordinary WAEC Result you have, present it and stop lying about obtaining results from Chicago and Toronto..

But they always want to impress us with criminal certificates because of their criminal intentions of going into politics

It simply means the nations security operatives didn't really run a check or ignored all the ills before the individual was nominated.

Meaning, most of the politicians in Nigeria were already doing well financially during their school days — they were the ones shouting “school is a scam” until they eventually needed it.

School isn’t necessary to become successful… however, I still went to school o.

It was tempting though — I wasn’t rich, but during my ND days, I was earning far more than what many BSc holders earn.

By HND, I was already earning more than a DPO’s salary.

That made school so tempting, because I basically had a deeper pocket than my HOD. 😂

People people get mind shaa. You know say na oluwole you carry yet,you tender am for political office screening. Political offices na ile aye oo. Its better you present what is defendable and tenable. Anyway, dem take am resemble their oga at the top. Till today his name is not found on the list of Children Home's School Malete Ibadan where he claimed to have had his primary education. My auntie, who's in her lste 60s is one of the alumni excos. She said he's name isn't found on the list of those who attended the school.

Dapo Abiodun played a smart one on ogun people. When contesting for a senatorial seat, he presented OAU result but when he was contesting for governorship, he only presented waec. When the opposition noticed it, they wanted to take him to court but their lawyer or counsel said they'd lose because the senatorial post was not same as governorship and the case was thrown off.

These are the calibre of people we have at the helms and sone people are still defending them, shioor on them. Nobody needs to ask why Nigeria isn't moving forwardi. You already know the answer before asking

Because they are mostly from the elite they merely get a slap on the wrist. Punish those involved according to the law to serve as deterant.

Whenever you’re hired for a job, HR usually asks for academic referees to validate your education. But in the highest office, nobody cares. The solution is clear—they just choose to turn a blind eye.

https://www.premiumtimesng.com/?tztc=1 Geoffrey Uchechukwu Nnaji a 62 year old Nigerian as at 2025 is an alleged fraudster, lying crook and criminal said to have forged UNN Nsukka Degree Certificate. There are many like him in the public and private sectors in Nigeria and they will sooner than later be serially exposed and ensconced in jail. In the face of glaring documentary proof he remains unrepentant and lying through his teeth claiming he is a victim of blackmail! He should be prosecuted for forgery under the Miscellaneous Offences Act where he would be sentenced to 21 years in prison without the option of a fine if found guilty. He will be 82 years at the completion of his prison term. Dealing with alleged forgers this way will help Nigeria be a nice place to live in! All his life he has lived a lie!!!
