And also Free Mazi Nnamdi Kanu
Free Biafra
Kanu has publicly said he is not Nigerian. I have no personal stake in him.
If he officially declares himself a Nigerian, I will publicly support efforts to secure his release.
If he remains a foreign national, then his actions should be treated under the laws that apply to non-citizens who disturb peace and security.
Any talks over release should happen through the proper channels, let the Nigerian government engage directly with representatives of the Biafra.

We are Nigerians, by tribe or region, we share a national identity.
If someone publicly declares themselves aligned with another country or separatist movement, that’s their decision.
Politically, we reserve our activism for citizens who claim Nigerian identity; those who reject it should take their disputes to the proper diplomatic channels.

If they jail him in Israel, what will you do?

Abeg shift.

The government will invite their ambassador and demand his immediate release.
Nigeria is a sovereign country.

What kind of yeye eye service activism is that? Why didn't he go to sambisa forest to talk to boko harm. People are killed daily in nigeria and yet Okey of a guy turned a blind eye. Make IDF teach am small lesson.

So he was among that fraud the IDF uncovered some days ago. The IDF should lock him up and throw the keys in the dead sea. He deserves to rotte in jail

Too bad, he will be freed, diplomatic channels have opened and consultations are in progress.
Hopefully one day you get locked up in foreign land.

We know your type, dismissive and quick to deflect.
He is Nigerian, and your comparisons to other national ills won’t deter us or erase his plight.

We will rally to Okey’s aid. He is one of ours, and nothing must happen to him while he’s in custody.
We demand his immediate, unconditional release, now.

They won't release him and that's it.
Why didn't Greta and his fellow activists not protest for his release?
They went home quietly.
He will get sense by force.

The tribe from the South eastern part of Nigeria has always stood out for Justice equity and fairplay.. other parts of Nigeria especially funny fani Kayode and other comrades from the North who have stood by Palestine for centuries did not find it edible to board a flotilla and physically express their displeasure with the idf. They rather hid in the comfort of their home ,pressing laptop keyboards to pour all sorts of bellicose online

The ones on Nairaland making excuses are clearly paid.

Okey Nnorom is not a troublemaker, he’s a man with a heart anchored in pure humanity.
Don’t let these paid commenters twist the story. Most of them collect small stipends from, you know who.

We must raise our voices now before the next headline reads, “He tripped, fell, and died in IDF custody.”
We’ve seen this playbook too many times before.

Nothing must happen to Okey Nnorom.
We are fully aware that he is being held by the IDF.
President Tinubu should summon the Israeli Ambassador immediately and demand an official guarantee of his safety.

Because silence at this point is complicity.
Pure humanity for terrorists?

Please stop all these nonsense, that's how most of you were supporting Buhari and BOKO HARAM till we found ourselves in this mess.

Learn how to call a spade a spade and not a farming instrument.

Going to save a terrorist in Gaza?

Oh my goodness

I am calling on Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairperson of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), and on the Tinubu administration to immediately step in and facilitate the safe return and recognition of the Nigerian activist hero who participated in the Gaza Sumud Flotilla.

This was not just another protest, it was a mission of moral courage. The Sumud Flotilla sailed in the face of military blockade, carrying nothing but humanitarian aid and the conscience of the world. Among those who braved that voyage was a Nigerian, a citizen who embodied the spirit of resistance, empathy, and international solidarity.

If Nigeria can send peacekeepers abroad, we must also protect peace activists who stand up for justice globally.
This is not a political issue, it’s a humanitarian and national pride issue.

The world should see that Nigeria does not abandon her citizens who act on the right side of history.
Abike Dabiri and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs must use every diplomatic and consular channel to ensure this activist’s welfare, safety, and recognition as a symbol of Nigerian conscience abroad.

Let it be known that in a time of global silence, a Nigerian voice spoke, and Nigeria stood behind it.

Tinubu, Minister Tuggar, Ambassador Bianca, and Abike Dabiri must urgently call on the Israeli Ambassador, Michael Freeman, to guarantee the safety of Okey Nnorom while he remains in IDF custody.

Nigeria should also demand his immediate and unconditional release, just as other nations like Norway, Sweden, and the United Kingdom have successfully done for their detained citizens.

Okey Nnorom stood for humanity; now humanity must stand for him.

Salute to courage. Salute to humanity. 🇳🇬✊🏽

Validated:
Did he tell Nigeria when he was embarking on the voyage to violate IDF blockade? He should be tried and jailed. Their leader Geta Thurbberg has since been deported, she never protested about other detainees.

But you shouldn't be surprised that majority of the people against him here are ibos. They think the war is a war between Christians and Muslims
No. It is a war between light and darkness. God and devil. Same people killing jews allover Europe and USA are the ones gathering to say, Israel has no right to exist anywhere.

You people should fight for Nigeria, terrorists killing Nigerians, kidnappers killing and displacing Nigerians yet I have not seen this face protest. I think he was paid.

He knew the consequences when he went there on his own free will. There are some things you just don't put your head into if you don't have the wits. If you want to be an activist, fine...all well and good....but then be prepared to face the challenges that come along with being an activist. We have enough problems in Nigeria to deal with, let alone a Nigerian outside the shores of Nigeria who choose to endanger himself.let him dance to the tune to what he bargained for. There are many Nigerians in the diaspora who genuinely require abike dabiri's intervention, why waste resources on this one who purposely choose to endanger himself.
