He will be freed.
But you shouldn't be surprised that majority of the people against him here are ibos. They think the war is a war between Christians and Muslims
We support Zionists over extremists muslims because there are no Zionist terrorists, only Islamic terrorists and jihadists killing and displacing Nigerians.

I am calling on Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairperson of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), and on the Tinubu administration to immediately step in and facilitate the safe return and recognition of the Nigerian activist hero who participated in the Gaza Sumud Flotilla.

This was not just another protest, it was a mission of moral courage. The Sumud Flotilla sailed in the face of military blockade, carrying nothing but humanitarian aid and the conscience of the world. Among those who braved that voyage was a Nigerian, a citizen who embodied the spirit of resistance, empathy, and international solidarity.

If Nigeria can send peacekeepers abroad, we must also protect peace activists who stand up for justice globally.
This is not a political issue, it’s a humanitarian and national pride issue.

The world should see that Nigeria does not abandon her citizens who act on the right side of history.
Abike Dabiri and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs must use every diplomatic and consular channel to ensure this activist’s welfare, safety, and recognition as a symbol of Nigerian conscience abroad.

Let it be known that in a time of global silence, a Nigerian voice spoke, and Nigeria stood behind it.

Tinubu, Minister Tuggar, Ambassador Bianca, and Abike Dabiri must urgently call on the Israeli Ambassador, Michael Freeman, to guarantee the safety of Okey Nnorom while he remains in IDF custody.

Nigeria should also demand his immediate and unconditional release, just as other nations like Norway, Sweden, and the United Kingdom have successfully done for their detained citizens.

Okey Nnorom stood for humanity; now humanity must stand for him.

Salute to courage. Salute to humanity. 🇳🇬✊🏽

Well, nobody send am dat one o! If it was to make name for himself or ingratiate himself with fellow activists, then he has done it because i didn’t know of his existence until now. How i wish Nigerian activists can bind themselves together to protest the bandits/terrorists killings, massive looting and hunger in the country.
This is an ignorant and dumb comment

We are classier than them.
The whole world knows Zionists Israelis are the real terrorists
We don't need to mention that anymore
They work and sponsor propaganda against Muslims to cause Islamophobia.

The world will advocate for his release....Israel is already in shame.
2 years after they said they will destroy Hamas
They are negotiating with Hamas up till today
The whole world sees them as the bad guys and Hamas as the good guys..............LMAO
I’ve supported most of your points until you claimed that “the world sees the IDF as the bad guys and Hamas as the good guys.” With all due respect, that statement completely loses me.

Let’s be honest — both Hamas and the IDF have blood on their hands. Hamas brutally slaughtered innocent Israeli civilians during the October attacks — young people at a music festival, families in their homes — that’s terrorism, plain and simple. On the other hand, the IDF’s response has inflicted unimaginable suffering on Gaza’s civilians — children, women, families who have nothing to do with Hamas — and that’s equally indefensible.

I’ve watched videos from Gaza that brought me to tears, but acknowledging that pain doesn’t mean I’ll turn a blind eye to terrorism. Anyone who tries to paint Hamas as “the good guys” is crossing into terrorist sympathizer territory.

If the detained activist you’re defending shares that same warped view, then I have zero sympathy for him. Standing for humanity doesn’t mean choosing one evil over another — it means condemning both.

Who send am message. When has he staged ordinary protest against Banditry, kidnapping, herdsmen or any insecurity case in Nigeria.

Who knows him, when did he start thinking that the Nigerian FG cares about any citizen in Nigeria or in diaspora. They never finish with PD APC na activist them go come face?

He should start begging for his own release with an undertaking not to act foolishly again. Nobody send am message

Tinubu should please ignore this call.

Some of my Igbo brothers and sisters have refused to have sense.

Instead of him to focus on protesting the genocide against Nigerian Christians, he went to do oversabi for Hamas people.

Abeg forget about him angry

Don’t get me wrong, I do not support Hamas. Far from it.

I maintain an independent thought process and will not let Israeli or any other propaganda dictate my perspective.

Prior to October 7, Israel had thousands of Palestinians detained without due process or fair trial. The events of October 7 can be seen, in context, as a response to longstanding injustices that received limited coverage in mainstream media.

In this light, Hamas’ actions are now being interpreted by some as aligned with the broader, global push to highlight and challenge the occupation , a struggle for Palestinian freedom from what many describe as open-air prisons.

The attention of the world is now focused on the cause of freeing Palestine, even if the actors and methods remain highly contentious.

Even if Nigeria is having challenging issues that are being resolved. We will advocate for our fellow Nigerian held by terrorist IDF.

The ones on Nairaland making excuses are clearly paid.

Okey Nnorom is not a troublemaker, he’s a man with a heart anchored in pure humanity.
Don’t let these paid commenters twist the story. Most of them collect small stipends from, you know who.

We must raise our voices now before the next headline reads, “He tripped, fell, and died in IDF custody.”
We’ve seen this playbook too many times before.

Nothing must happen to Okey Nnorom.
We are fully aware that he is being held by the IDF.
President Tinubu should summon the Israeli Ambassador immediately and demand an official guarantee of his safety.

Because silence at this point is complicity.
Why are you not among them if you so much care...

Ohh! you are a keyboard activities.
