Of course, you don't care what zik and his cohorts schemed and fought for, 70 years ago but very perturbed by the fact that nigeria was colonised decades ago. As if nigeria is the only country colonised by others

What zik and his kinsmen wanted, over 7 decades ago, the consequence is now staring us all in the face
presently. Zik did not want secession clause, he got his way (with the support of the brits, of course.).

Zik wanted unitary syatem and he got his way with Ironsi' decree 34. He and his deceitful co-travellers had a 20year plan (in 1944) to dominate the rest of us and they did, in the 1st republic whereby 70% of the federal posts at the nigerian airways went to them, 65% of the pists in the nigerian ports authority went to the same folks, Nigerian railway nko? Over 70% went to them.

What about education? All our Unis were VCed by them. Even federal scholarship in yorubaland was monopolised by the same peps.

This was why the sardunna slammed his "northernisation " policy , specifically on their greedy lil' ass.es. This earned him the Jan 15th coupists bullets.

In essence, what zik and his kinsmen did in the 30s and 40s is what we are grapling with now.
.
Its funny how people talk about decree 34 that was about the civil service, given that the same Awolowo clapped for Gowon as he abolished the 4 Regions Nigeria had and created 12 states with Decree 14, then used Decree 15 to end resource control.

The British created a colonial project called Nigeria, but it must one man called Zik who will decide if any of the 200 ethnic groups forced in that colonial creation has any right to self determination

It only remains for some people to say that it was up to Zik to decide if anyone in Nigeria can go to the toilet grin grin

Oh, so you now admit that Ironsi without conducting a plebsicite, UNIFIED our civil service. So, in essence, there was no more western nigeria television service rather, it's now NTA.
All the regional civil services were collapsed under the Federal civil service.
Ironsi foisted One united Nigeria federal civil service on the rest of us. Zik and his cohorts has been muttering "One Nigeria" since the late 40's. Basically, Ironsi fulfilled Zik's dream with his decree 34.

I did not suggest that zik held the power to determine who and when any group seceed from the warped union rather those were your own words to deflect from the key issue which is that, zik opposed the inclusion of secession clause in our constitution.
Yes or No?
