The video clip didn't show the DSS raiding anybody.

It should have been more detailed.

What is shown on the video clip are just some hazy operatives coming out of two buses.

This video clip isn't enough to indict the EFCC.


However, this is not to endorse any gestapo-style operations in the wee hours of the night.

But, suffice it to say, where there's a credible intelligence report that a crime is being committed or about being committed that the EFCC must wait till the break of dawn after the crime must have been successfully carried out before "raiding" innocent passersby.

I don't support crime. But this modus operandi of arresting criminals is wack. Both the sinners and non sinners might end up paying the same price. EFCC Should look into this. FBI was trailing Hush for almost six months before getting him down. That is not the case here.

They have different goals. One is to nail you forever. Keep you always in a spot where they want you.

While the other is to act on the most likely information from any source. Apprehend and detain the "suspect" until they drain your account before you can walk. And then if you're even the least guilty of anything, a deal is struck where the criminal is bound to be a steady POS to them.

It seems most of our youths are busy chasing money that will eventually be corrected by efcc if they are not checked. EFCC has gone the wrong way, youths should wakeup and take them up. This is enough reason to be lockdown everything.

which is why I don't even lodge in a hotel these days, I use all these shortlet apartments or check into a guest house in a church premises.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) should be dissolved. The laws enabling EFCC should be repealed.
EFCC is a harassment tool, and is of no benefit to the general Nigerian population.

CIA and FBI can trail and investigate someone for years; we don't have such resources in Nigeria. Hiwever, there should be a law that forbids security operatives from raiding an area after 9pm. If I have my gun and these folks try to raid my compound at 3am, I will open fire thinking they are criminals. Why they do this is that Nigerians don't bear firearms in their large numbers.
