From the Urhobo ethnic group worldview, she is right.
When the wife of an Urhobo man is sleeping with another man and the husband ( Urhobo man)is fully aware of her infidelity, he should not play any conjugal role with his adulterous wife nor eat her food.If he does, his children will be falling sick and he may end up going to join his ancestors.This is called ERIVWIN( justice of the ancestors).
In this scenario,the Urhobo man will either sent his adulterous wife packing or she will go to his ancestral hometown for cleansing.

Unless the married lady starts hating her husband after sleeping with other men, that is when her cheating would affect their husbands. But if women can learn to still love their husbands and play her wifely roles to him, her having affairs and sleeping with other men would not affect her husband. This is why I advise married ladies who still want to spice up their marriages by sleeping with other men to learn how to be like men who would cheat with numerous side chicks and still love, respect and provide for their wives! Ladies can still be polygamous in nature if they learn to love their husbands even while sleeping other men. This not too hard to do! Learn to be like a man to your husband!
It is their not loving their men that would kill the man.
