I drove to Ministry of health yesterday and parked by the side of the road, because I found people doing that, since the upgraded car park is still under construction. But I was careful, checking for sign of "No Parking" . Anyways, I didn't find one. I sighted a road safety towing truck towing a car, from where, I don't know. My sixth sense told me something was not right. Before leaving my car, I called who I was going to see, and told him where I parked. He alerted me that I risked my car been towed. It took a while for him to come out. Within this period, I saw another towing truck towing another car. That was when I realised that, they deliberately didn't put a No parking sign, so that unsuspecting car owners will be a victim to their scheme to extort money from them. As at the time I was leaving I saw yet another car been towed. Only God knows how many cars they tow each day and how much they charge for releasing the cars. Please car owners and drivers be vigilant, and find a safe place to park your car. Please can this be moved to front page, so a lot of people will be aware of what is going on.

Aside being unjustly towed, one can only imagine the damage the towed vehicle may suffer as a result. If the handbrake of the car was on, it will surely be ruined. If the vehicle is an all wheel drive and is on gear , it may suffer a capital damage. |

OkanlawonB:This is an insight into what happens to a car when it is towed in that state. It never crossed my mind. These guys are no better off than criminals. If not for our failed justice system, one should file a suit against them, but the case will linger in court for years, and become a waste of time money and effort. |
