This is fake news. How can the writer say that the inec chairman confirmation was not on the agenda? Nigerians knew about it since Monday when we read the notice for council of state meeting. We knew it was part of the agenda. Therefore, claiming that ododo was asked to hurriedly nominate inec chairman is not true.

On Wike not attending, Wike is not a Gov but a Minister so he's not a member of the council of state.

Babangida was the first person that was called followed by Jonathan. The most challenging was Obasanjo as he had already boarded a flight heading for the meeting and immediately Wike called him he ordered the pilot to return home. As for Abdulsalami, Wike just sent his driver to tell him in person as his phone has been bad going to 3 weeks now. Gowon was having lunch at some local restaurant near Wike’s office so it was very easy to go there and talk to him. You can see how Wike was able to tell all of them not to come.
