The ADC are just playing politics with Poverty figures..

The world bank's report is based on projection not real time data from nigeria.. grin grin
Are Nigerians not poorer? where is the politics coming from?

Even the so called minimum wage they are paying is even below the poverty line, after paying foodstuffs, nothing will be left for medicals, school fees and house rent.

What else is the definition of poverty when 9 out of 10 Nigerians can't afford 3 times meal daily , even you self when last did you eat 1-1-1 grin

Nigeria has never had a competent leader since it's existence, prove me wrong.

Senator Natasha would have made a far better and exceptional president while veterans like Akinwunmi Adeshina and Okonjo Iweala would govern America far better than all their presidents.

Otunba Lamba was only good for Lagos State

Yeah, this one really exposes how bad things have gotten. It’s not even about politics at this point — the numbers speak for themselves. When over half the population is struggling just to eat, something is clearly wrong with the system. You can’t keep defending policies that aren’t working just because you want to look good internationally. Nigerians need actual relief, not speeches or fancy data that doesn’t match reality.

Tinubu and Buhari will be remembered for destroying Nigeria.
Honestly, you’re not wrong. Both of them came in with big promises but left people worse off. Buhari wrecked the economy, and Tinubu is just continuing the same mess, only this time with fancier grammar. The sad part is, ordinary Nigerians are the ones paying the price.

Facts bro, I totally agree. Natasha actually has vision and heart for the people. Adesina and Okonjo Iweala are on a different level entirely — global-minded, smart, and disciplined. Tinubu might’ve managed Lagos, but Nigeria isn’t Lagos. Leading a whole nation requires more than street politics.

Exactly! The minimum wage can’t even take someone through half the month. Once you buy food, you’re broke again. Imagine earning that little and still having to pay rent, school fees, and medical bills — it’s just survival mode every day.

For real! That’s the sad truth. Most people are just managing one or two meals a day, and sometimes even that’s not guaranteed. Things are tough out here — if 9 out of 10 Nigerians can’t eat three times daily, then poverty is clearly staring us in the face.

Like he rightly promised,he has done what he said

Some people thought he was capping when he said he would slow down the economy and widden the tax net

The abrupt removal of subsidy and the floating of the naira has caused unprecedented inflation like it has never been experienced in any generations....this is just the beginning.....

Go out there and feel the sting of suffering people are going thru. Basic amenities feel like luxury...the poverty is palpable

With all these things , he would likely win re-election because the opposition is yet to coalesce and present one strong formidable front
Exactly bro, you nailed it. He actually delivered on that part of his “promise,” just not in the way people expected. The suffering in the country right now is real — everything’s expensive, and people are barely surviving. Yet, like you said, he’ll probably still win again because the opposition is too scattered and weak to challenge him properly. Sad reality.

The more suffering they unleash upon the people, the cheaper they can buy their votes

Anyone would've done great as a governor in Lagos with the huge revenue in Lagos
