Many States do and this is why I am always amused by the noise many make over Lagos which is the smallest State in Nigeria.

There are many States with abundant land new communities, industries and commercial district can spring up in if State leaders are innovative and visionary

14,000 Ha is huge. This is roughly about two and half times the size of Ikeja. For context, that's like 20 local government put together.

You’re absolutely right bro, most people don’t even know that part of the Land Use Act exists. They just assume you can acquire as much land as you want once you have the money. That governor’s consent clause is the real deal — without it, anything beyond those limits can easily be revoked or declared invalid.

Nice one, Surveyor 👏 always dropping gems. It’s good to see someone bringing legal awareness to land issues because too many people fall into trouble out of ignorance.

What’s the big deal here? 14k hectares is just 2.471 acres of land. An acre is about the size of a football field.
