This is so sad to read. Was she alone?
Honestly it is a legit fear and the one time I was faced internally with robbers, that is what crossed my mind.

Those people who do installation of cctv shouldn't just be installing for installation sake. It's to aid security and security examinations like this so they should try to create scenarios during and after installation, and observe what they've installed would give in real life situations

This is why arms should be legalized in this country. The right to protect yourself and family is sacrosanct. Even in neighboring Ghana you can own a pistol legally, why not naija considering the insecurity.
