Hello, please what’s your experience so far with the tcl AC? What are the pros and cons so far? Power consumption and cooling.
I am considering a TCL as the LG is way above my budget.

I've never regretted it for once. I don't know the power rating but I think LG will save slightly more.

the power consumption is slightly better than my previous non-inverter but I'm not sure its like LG. Also, it depends on the model you have in mind as newer TCL models promises better energy savings. I think mine is 30%

i think this is a bit more recent. It should do better in savings than mine. Let me give you a rough estimate of my usage during the time I used non-inverter and now with the inverter.

I load 20k unit monthly.
Non-inverter - takes about 22-24 days
Inverter - takes about 26-30 days.
Again, this data is not accurate as there are several factors that may affect the usage.

I'm on band C but I get about 14-16 hours of light. The days I work from home, its on all day. The days I go out, its on from when I get home and all night. So let's say, minimum of 8 hours daily.

Well, in as much i had no experience of the brands you mentioned but i can assured you on Sumec Firman Inverter AC, the chilling and cooling ability is extremely high, also i noticed that Sumec Firman Inverter AC doesnt comes with the normal power rate like the one am using carries 1.1hp instead of 1hp, infact to my surprise i powered my 1.1 Sumec Firman Inverter AC with their Generator called Spg1800 Promax and the price is economically sensible, also the products comes with 2 years warranty. Bro kindly give the brand a consideration and thank me later.

So they just installed this for me. It's a Royal 1.5hp inverter AC. However, the prob I'm having with it is the fact that it does not circulate round, it's only fixated and cooling the area where it's facing as shown in the picture.

When I go on swing, it swings up and down, i.e vertical. Not actually chilling most part of the room that's on the left side.

The AC placement is actually to the rightmost part of the siting room ( landlord had actually put the hole, conduit, and everything there, so installer can't put it elsewhere like at the door or window that face the whole sitting room, sitting room is rectangular shaped)

I actually thought it should still be able to swing horizontally to the left and right, but it ain't.

The unit is struggling to cool a space above its capacity. You need a larger unit.

Brand new units to the best of my knowledge always come pre-filled. Except this is an exceptional factory defect case. If not, your technician is either naive, incompetent or trying to reap you off.

it's smart inverter. This looks like the first series of smart inverter from LG. There are mixed reviews on it. Most say it's not as reliable as the dual inverter even in terms of cooling capacity.

So pls between dis 2 which brand would U advice me to go for... 🤔
