Good evening.
Thank you to everyone who has called, messaged, and checked in over the past 2½ months. Your kindness has meant the world. I’ve been unwell (still recovering), and prioritising my health has taken precedence over everything else.

Unfortunately, I will also be parting ways with the Obidient structure.
As stated in our joint statement:

This decision has not been made lightly, but is the result of deep reflection and concern about the direction, values, and attitudes that have come to dominate the structure in recent months."

I still don't know how you people cannot read the writing on the wall to understand Obi is now exposed as a charlatan, with nothing upstairs, while most hardcore Obidient are today viewed as bigoted extremists most sane Nigerians no longer want to associate with.

These guys, see bolded below, are not saying anythng different to what most who continue to leave the Obidient crew in droves are saying.

The two signatories are Diasporan engagement personnel for the Obidient movement who were passionate believers in a better Nigeria and wrongly believed Obi represented that. They are different to the hungry and extremists lackeys on ground in Nigeria looking for stipends.

They made their issues crystal clear about how the Obidient movement is disorganised, unstructured, dictatorial, dismissive of the opinion of others, financially exploitative of diasporans etc, etc.

Sadly, their complaint is everything we have come to associate with Obidients in Nigeria. Some of us could have spared them the heartache if they had bothered to consult extensively instead of blindly believing Obi and the Obidient movement represented change.

If it’s same woman “Bolanle” that i know. Even if she didn’t return home to vote Obi. Trust me when I say she’s done more to persuade people to vote for him. Cuz the one I know is handicapped but yet restless even in the abroad that she is everyday pleading for voters and supporting which ever way she can. She still didn’t even rest after the election, fighting for Obi to win at the court. Even if she’s contributed no vote or votes per say but if someone handicapped can do that much she’s done then she’s given her all. Let’s try to appreciate efforts please. No matter what a Yoruba but has done or said in the past, I’m always happy when they realize their mistake and dissociate themselves completely from the IPOB led Obidient movement. It is like welcoming back the prodigal son and it goes to show that our effort to sensitize our people are not in vain.

I agree 100%. No one is above making a mistake. The bolded is my opinion too because Peter Obi is a certified bigot 100%, while there is countless solid proof exposing his complete lack of leadership skills and vision.

Such as the many festering crisis in his Labour Party.most average leaders would have tamed yet incompetent and divisive Obi made things worse.

He is nothing but a desperate "Igbo Presidency" project packed as "change".

Most of them were pro-Osinbajo , they were not happy for their man lost of APC primary, hence it was easy for Obidients to deceive them
