Idara Gold was yesterday discharged and acquitted of all charges by Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court Abuja

Idara Godwin, better known as Idara Gold is a young Biafran activist from Akwa Ibom State. In 2021, she celebrated her 20th birthday by posting pictures of her self in Biafran attire. This made the DSS to arrest her at her residence in Enugu, and bundled her to DSS Headquaters in Abuja where she was held for a year without any charge. She was denied visits by her family and Lawyer. She was later transferred to a detention centre in Kainji, Niger State

Her family then applied for an enforcement of her fundamental rights, the DSS filed an affidavit that she was being investigated for terrorism. In 2022, the DSS charged Idara Gold to court for terrorism, being an IPOB member and concealing information. In 2023, Idara Gold was granted bail.

Yesterday, after almost 4 years, her ordeal came to an end as she was cleared of all charges and discharged

Who will pay her back the 4 lost years?

She is now free while Buhari under whose administration she was arrested is now rotting away in hell, despite all the billions he spent to keep himself alive.

Our God is a wonderful God.

God will punish Buhari for this girls issue ...Haba the girl should sue the DSS for compensation

Unfortunately, Nigeria is not a land of justice, its a land of injustice. For putting on a Biafran dress to celebrate her 20th birthday, the Nigerian government wasted 4 years of this girls life

A calculated attempt to silence anything Biafra. What they dont realise is that you can try to suppress an ideology, you may even succeed for a while, but it is never possible to kill it unless you have a superior ideology. Unfortunately for Nigeria, nobody has seen any superior ideology since October 1st 1960
