G0odharddick:The blacks in South Africa believe that the blacks from other African countries are the ones spoiling and preventing opportunities from South Africans. They are too lazy to find out opportunities for themselves. |

Arostar2023:Am sure the south Africans will regard theirs as demonic too, it's wrecked their electricity and railway sector for example. |

| Re: Former South African President Thabo Mbeki Takes Up Photography - (Photos) by Arostar2023: 8:57pm On Oct 11, 2025 |
nairalanda1:Nigerians' own wrecked the entire country (every sector) and gradually turning the country to a failed state. Even hallowed sectors like the judiciary and academicia were not spared. |

Arostar2023:Nigeria is bad because we sell resources and use the money to import stuff we should be making Corruption here is a side effect. So also debt South Africa is going the same way. |

nairalanda1:I agree with you that South Africa has her own problems, but Nigeria's own is mind blowing. Even one of the former colonial masters, after seeing what our politicians were doing to their own people, said that Nigerians are fantastically corrupt. Can you beat that? |

Smitaro100:I don't understand how and why you lots derive so much joy from ridiculing your country at every slight opportunity. Who told you he's doing it for the money and that South Africa isn't plagued by that same corruption problem that is ravaging Nigeria? ![]() |

Wickedlywicked:Keep suffering in silence and allow the reasonable ones to speak out... |
| Re: Former South African President Thabo Mbeki Takes Up Photography - (Photos) by Wickedlywicked: 11:42pm On Oct 11, 2025 |
Smitaro100:Firstly, the fact that you and those who own you are suffering doesn't mean everyone else is and secondly, If you must speak up, then do so citing a valid case and comparison. Using South Africa (of all countries) to affirm and adjudge that Nigeria is fantastically corrupt is not only silly but senseless. Yes, Nigeria is corrupt but if any country must be used as a moral vanguard to guide Nigeria out of corruption, should that country be South Africa? Like South Africa of all countries . The same country that almost all of its former heads are enmeshed in various corruption scandals. I would have taken you and that other thing seriously if the condemnation was done out of sincerity and not out of you penchant for condemning your country at any given chance or if his choice of country and comparison was a country that has real anti-corruption mechanism and campaigns in place; if it was a country like the people's republic of China where anti-corruption fight is actively being used to tame corruption to its barest minimum. The upsetting question is: why South Africa? |
