They are migrant Yoruba settlers. Just because their parents migrated to kogi a century or two ago doesn't give them right to annex kogi lands. The Fulani emirate owns Kwara, kogi and the Hausa majority states. Any land where 40% are Muslims is owned by the sultan who conquered those territories long ago. Non muslims are allowed to live there as long they pay tax to the emirate. The bandits didn't step.out of their law. You have to respect the law of the land as enshrined by your host. The fulanis are only enforcing their ownership rights by driving out the Yoruba settlers who have trespassed and refuse to be submissive to their host by paying tax which non Muslims in conquered territories must pay or they face the sword option. In the far north, many conquered communities have agreed and negotiated to resume paying taxes to the fulanis as enshrined in the Qur'an. Yoruba settlers either negotiate and pay their tax or face the sword option. This is the Qur'an.

Insecurity is getting worse daily and it seems our security agencies are helpless. Ondo State might be the next target of the bandits.

Okun people have never really been interested in governorship that is why we are yet to produce a governor, not because we don't have the population, sabotage among my people is also a factor.

Ododo Usman became governor because of the support of okun people against their own Dino Melaye, he was bold enough to admit it Igalas would have won the guber elections but okun did not vote for them they voted for Ebira instead, Igalas have been in power right from time, they were actually supposed to retain power but God took it from them by divine intervention and gave it to Ebira, as soon as Ododo is done with his 2 terms Okun will produce the next governor in the state with the support of Ebira. Igala will never support anybody but their own.

One thing is certain there has never been any tribe that won gubernatorial elections without the support of 1 of the other 2 tribes in kogi it's not possible.

In his response, Buhari, who recounted how he was nearly killed even before he collected his first salary in the army stated that keeping Nigeria united was paramount.

“I believe you are here because you want to be here and you cannot complain. We will do our best to build the national institutions in the country,” he said.

“There are 250 ethnic groups, so keeping Nigeria one is a task that must be done. So even for a personal reason, you must make sure this country stays one and remain strong.”

On his part, Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai assured Nigerians that they will continue their onslaught in the north-east.

Kogi state shares boundaries with about seven other states as it in the central...
7 of the LGs are occupied by yorubas while the others are occupied by;
Ebiras,
Igalas
Idoma
Bassas and a few
Igbos.
It's a state of different tribes forced together by Babangida but till today all of us no gree as we no like the forced union.
It's the same way Nigeria was forced on us in 1914 and today, some wan divorce..
