Pardons are given to criminals or offenders who have been imprisoned and have a jail sentence attached. What do you expect when you see the government pardoning these individuals? Can a government official be pardoning a law-abiding citizen? No, pardons are granted to criminals who may have been found guilty of a particular offense.

Yes, there was a committee that recommended candidates for pardon but I believe the President scrutinized the list and agreed with their recommendations before giving approval.

The list is disgraceful to say the least!

There's nobody that was released that Tinubu didn't fully and consciously approve. The whole Southern Nigeria know the activities of this Kelvin and even when he kidnapped Mike Ozekhome. What about ex-presidents and former CJNs who were council members? Did you read anywhere anyone raised an objection?
