Honestly, choice depends on what you value, camera, battery, or durability. But how do you even pick when midrange phones are now doing almost everything flagships do?

The truth is, Nigerian users are getting smarter. People now compare specs, check reviews, and don’t just buy because of name anymore.

At this point, every brand needs to bring real innovation, not just recycle old designs with fancy names. The market no dey dull again.

From what I’ve seen, they focus a lot on battery life, durability, decent performance, and fast charging in the budget–midrange segment. They’ve also started opening service centers in cities across the country, like Lagos, Kano and Port Harcourt, which is good for after-sales support.

That being said, every brand seems to have its strong and weak points, some focus more on cameras, others on design, gaming, or durability.

Which phone brands have impressed you the most recently?

Has anyone here tried realme devices, and how’s the experience compared to Tecno, Infinix, Xiaomi, or Samsung?

Yes Realme really has come to stay. I once attended the launch of Realme C50 or so at Lekki Phase 1. I remember testing the Phone there. It was so good.


However, I've been using TECNO for a while and I must say that while Realme is really coming up, TECNO has gone far ahead. They have a lot to do to catch up with TECNO.

TECNO has been in the game for a long time and so they're the Baba currently.

I'm a die hard of TECNO and will continue to be even while I also love for other brands to keep growing too

realme is definitely making wave in the market right now, but other brands aren't sleeping as well and I really like the healthy competition. Na we end users dey enjoy am pass

yeah especially Tecno they have good products too, I'm checking out a new brand called realme they have good stuff
