Obi suddenly has the magic wand to turn Nigeria around... As governor of anambra state how many people did he bring out of poverty kwa? What was his legacy in anambra? Mediocrity at its highest! |

brain54:This is the part all his followers will never agree to discuss. Yet, they want Nigerians to vote him, how? |

brain54:Soludo told the world all that needs to be known. It’s just shocking that, same person who doubled poverty, is now emphasizing on same poverty.

CoronaVirusPro:Quoting Soludo. Why not speak for yourself? All those lies have been debunked with facts. https://www.nairaland.com/8412962/poverty-rate-anambra-under-peter Do you even know the meaning of double? Nope!! Na Amaechi I blame. His laptops are still being used by his APC boys to spread fake news.

jmoore:You are using another source to debunk what the Governor of a State said. Soludo categorically stated that he had records to prove his point and you are here showing me a Nairaland thread. Why didn’t Peter call out Soludo’s claims as false? Cos he knew Soludo was going to bring out figures and stats. |
| Re: Current Hardship Affecting Nigerians Mentally – Obi by jmoore(m): 5:19pm On Oct 12, 2025 |
CoronaVirusPro:Are Soludo records hidden in Sambisa forest? I uploaded screenshot from NBS. But you can't comprehend. And you can never comprehend because of being programed to act. |
| Re: Current Hardship Affecting Nigerians Mentally – Obi by Nobody: 5:30pm On Oct 12, 2025 |
jmoore:Does NBS know more than the governor of a state who made such statement? Cos I seem not to get your point. Are you implying that the current state governor is telling lies? How come Peter himself never debunked Soludo’s claims when he said it? But instead, you show me NBS screenshot like they know Anambra state better than the current Governor. |
| Re: Current Hardship Affecting Nigerians Mentally – Obi by Putindbutt(m): 5:44pm On Oct 12, 2025 |
jmoore:From the table, Obi increased poverty from 41% when he took power to 53% before leaving office. The table did not show us the poverty rate in 1999 before Tinubu took over.. So, show us the poverty rate in Lagos before Tinubu. Before Obi, it was 41% and Obi magically increased it to 53% . Anambra people, I hail una o, you're the real MVP for enduring Obi's failure. ![]() |

CoronaVirusPro:If you have a governor that licks the ass of Tinubu, he can lie and Tinubu supporters will believe him. Records are not inside Soludo's wardrobe. They are in the public. Must Obi come out every minute to debunk your lies? The ones he has said, do you believe them? What Obi says doesn't matter to you. Cos you have been programmed. That's why you can never get my point. |
| Re: Current Hardship Affecting Nigerians Mentally – Obi by Nobody: 5:48pm On Oct 12, 2025 |
jmoore:Now you talking! I was expecting that! So the APGA governor was a loyalist of His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) and why he made such statement and threatened to back it up with evidences. Now I got you! |
| Re: Current Hardship Affecting Nigerians Mentally – Obi by jmoore(m): 5:53pm On Oct 12, 2025 |
Putindbutt:Poverty of Lagos under Tinubu was 69%. And you are asking for the poverty rate of 1999. You want to score own goal. You want to insinuate the Lagos has the highest poverty rate in Nigeria before Tinubu took over? DEY PLAY. |
| Re: Current Hardship Affecting Nigerians Mentally – Obi by jmoore(m): 5:57pm On Oct 12, 2025 |
Putindbutt:The problem with babablu bulabu bots is that they always keep scoring own goals. Tinubu was governor from 1999-2007. Tinubu has already spent 4 years as Lagos state governor and poverty rate of Lagos was 69.4% which is approximately 70% as indicated by the NBS report of 2003-04. Tinubu was not governor in 2009-10. NBS didn't release any absolute poverty data rate in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 when Obi was still governor. Peter Obi was governor between 2006 and 2014. What was the poverty rate in 2006 before he became governor? Your yeye fact check didn't say. The only thing from the data is that in 2009-2010 poverty rate in Anambra under Obi was 53.7% while 2003-2004 poverty rate in Lagos under Tinubu was 69.4%. So between 53.7% and 69.4%, which is better? Tinubu has even broken his own record. He has made more Nigerians poorer when he was sworn in as president. |

jmoore:There's no need for this high blood pressure, Lol. Two things are important here which are common sense and understanding. I was the one who created the thread and attached this screenshot that you stole, unfortunately you don't have the understanding to read a simple table. Since then I have been asking just one question but you have failed to answer. Now, from the table, before Obi took over or when Obi took over, poverty in Anambra was 41%. Before Tinubu took over or when Tinubu took over, what was the poverty rate in Lagos? That's how you can compare the figures of both periods, when they took over compared to when they left. The world can clearly see that Gbajue increased the number of poor people in Anambra when he left than when he took over 🤣😂. The question once again is, what was the rate in 1999 when Tinubu took over, then we can compare with when he left.. simple.. ipob abeg na 🙏 |

CoronaVirusPro:I believe you stopped your schooling at SSCE cause if not, you should know that the NBS is the official recognized authority in terms of data not an individual. Not even a governor. If you were to reference poverty statistics would you say "Soludo said" or "According to the NBS"? |
