Heaven helps those who help themselves, no policy will remove a person from poverty, that cannot think for themselves.

Tinubu’s policies remove people from poverty in 2 years? What an absurd statement.

A joke, the poor remain poor, because they lack the mental capacity to create wealth for themselves & add any value to society.
Why have his policies in the 26 year old Lagos master plan made people poorer without basic government services and utilities like water, free education for all children, free healthcare for all residents etc?

The eyesore on Bourdillon Road
2nd January 2025

Beyond his neighbours, there is something about the sight of people hanging around a president’s residence that does not speak well of his leadership capabilities. Maybe no one has nudged him to see it, but the impression that spectacle on Bourdillon Road generates is that Tinubu enjoys the sight of suffering humans and thrives in—and through— their poverty.

If all these years, impoverished people hang around you and you remain comfortable enough to keep them just so they can be handed tokens of your large heart, then it means you have a pro-poverty mindset. Such a frame of mind is oriented toward cultivating poverty rather than stimulating abundance.

That is why he could unproblematically relate the story of his “friend” who went from using five Rolls Royce to a far-less valued car and not consider the import of the nonsense he was saying. That spurious account was an indication that this is a man for whom poverty—of others, not himself—is an ideal.

Lies. If the citizens wanted freedom from their oppressors so much, they will fight for it and get it. Not whine and cry and complain

So to you, it's not the government's fault. It's that Nigerians have very low IQ. Is there anything you Tinubu gang wouldn't say to defend the worst president in our history?
It is your state & local governments fault that u are still in poverty, they have refused to create an enabling environment for wealth creation.

Abi u want me to blame u for the banditry happening in Zamfara State?

You no get sense @ all.
Poor Nigerians are reaping the benefits of the bold reforms and its very visible.
The reforms are yielding more poverty.
3 square meals with formation of 1-1-1 turned to 0-1-0 or 0-0-1 and has now been further upgraded to questions like, what is the alternative to rice, tomato vs snake tomato, what is the alternative to cow meat, titus fish, what is the equivalent of vegetable oil and cooking gas.
Only f00ls will not expect Tinubu to fulfil his campaign promise of "I will reduce their purchasing power"

nairavsdollars:
The presidency keeps saying the bold reforms are visible but why are poor Nigerians not reaping the benefit of President Bola Tinubu's reforms after two years in office?

Foods are now very cheap compare to what it was somewhere around this time last year. Yes I am talking about our common staples like cassava flour, garri, rice and beans. So the so called poor can still afford nutritious meals without breaking banks. Aside from worrying about continental dishes, common staples especially home made food are cheap
Hard as you tried to make a case for the government, sadly you're a victim of your own submission.
Question should be, what was the condition of living when Tinubu came on board, and what is it now?

The game has always been the same: when they want to rob the masses, they first make it very austere such that by the time they setlle for the line of inflation they'd projected, the gullible masses will think their suffering has been alleviated or reduced....

FYI, this government like it's immediate predecessor has ripped the living light off the ordinary Nigerians. And why did I say so?

Check the Minimum wage vs prices of commodities and juxtapose same to the exchange rate. If you do the maths correctly, you'll understand my point. But if you don't get it, then forget it!

so a whooping 139million Nigerians lack the mental capacity to pull themselves from poverty? It's truly a shame for you to narrow your thoughts to this level.

The benefits of Tinubu's reforms are in the notebooks of Western journalists paid off by Tinubu propaganda office to occasionally publish fantom benefits from Tinubu's reforms.

Lazy people will always look 👀 for who & what to blame for their poverty.

It is the president that made them poor.

Go and ask the Lagos State Government, then go to your own state & ask your own state government to inquire also.

He’s trying in the power sector sha. I’ve been enjoying like 15 or 20 hours daily.

Tinubu, look for a man called Gordon Brown in London. He succeeded Tony Blair as Prime Minister and he’s very passionate about Africa.

Appoint him as a close honorary economic adviser and tell him that you want to take Nigeria from third world to first world.

Be ready to replace Nelson Mandela as the greatest president in African history.
if he was that good why did Britain offloaded him

Because the "so-called" reforms are nothing but excuses to "transform" the rich to wealthy and the average-men into paupers. Reform KO, Ifeoma ni. lol.

It's high time the masses open their eyes and stop all these tribalism and favoritism . It is obvious that around 70% of people are suffering without knowing where their next meal will come from, but the remaining 30% benefiting from these "reforms" will not let us hear word with their lies up and down
