This is exactly how I married my sweet wife. We entered school the same year but I met her in second year for serious friendship in school, then 2years after our nyscs we got married
That's it.

Many people don't even know that's the best chance to meet your partner.

grin

To be honest, I can boldly claim that the reason God gave me the opportunity of entering school is for me to fetch my industrious and sweet wife. Though, I gaped her in age with 7yrs experience of life, that's why she clings on me till we married

Make sure you find your wife in university days or nysc

Once you enter the rat race looking for money

You can no longer find a lady willing to build up with you, sorry is your name

You will have to buy your love and continue paying till it expires

I will advice anyone still in the university to leave books in the evening and go out, read your book in the morning and afternoon, find good girls, have fun while at it.

Before you close your eyes 4yrs don go, unless you plan to be single at 35

True love can only be found when you are in school
Wetin this one dey talk undecided

If you like find her at 100l, she can still be taken from you
post NYSC when you are trying to find your feet, she will leave for a man who is ready
You can find a good woman anytime, provided you search in the right places

In death you know and feel nothing compared to all the inhumane treatment and low standard of living that is associated with poverty
Death isn't better than poverty because you don't stay dead, you get recycled as fast as possible

So you just have to keep hoping that the next life is not holding poverty that's worse than what you're already running away from

How about 99.9999+% of people who either never went to uni or never met partner in uni?

Whatever makes you sleep well at night. I don't believe in reincarnation. Everyone only has a shot at life and I owe it to myself to get rich or die trying. I play chess not checkers

I will ask you only two questions as regards this topic:

1. If tables were turned and you're one of those ladies, will you prefer to follow people that are still as confused and naive as you are?

2. You yourself, will you want to date yourself at that time.

The only thing I see wrong with this narration is that, no serious student should have the mindset of even dating at all at 100L, because you will end up been misled. Why? You don't know anything yet, you're still blind, you need clarity, you need more information to be able to navigate and stand on your own.

But it is very cool to follow your seniors or people who knows more than you not even for dating sake but for adequate information to move & get ahead of others on time.

Shalom!

When you make money, find one young girl and marry. She sef would dump her 400L boyfriend and marry you. You are only crying here because na your hand them break. 15yrs from now your tone would change. Except of course you don't make money to make settling down easier and more desirable. Your anger would be x500.

It's not hard to know whether somebody has a bright future or not. A student who has a bright future concentrates 100% of his energy on his studies. His passion and goal is to come out with good grade and become successful in anything he ventures into after school.

A student who has no future tend to care more about how to get girlfriend instead of focusing on his studies.

1. Years later I am just discovering this was a general line😂😂😂. I heard it a lot as a fairly tall lady. So it got boring quickly. He even brought form.

2. Not surprising for your region. As someone who grew in the SW, I never saw men and women whine so much about age or marriage until I moved to the SE.
1. 😆

2. Well, weddings were supposed by parents/family (usually the bride) and the bride price donated by the groom's family. After marriage, our culture encourages submissive provision from the wives so there is no 'pressure' to make it 'big' especially from the groom before settling down. The disadvantages are submissive provision from the wives, no firm grip on the kids in some instances, masculine wives, rotating spouses and no elaborate or detailed housekeeping.

That's why posters like ybaby used to diss us (Yoruba women) that we like sufferhead.

It is well.

Oh true! You people have a lot of submissive providers. It has its advantage because they don't whine over their men. The disadvantage is what you listed. I noticed all this as a growing child. Many of classmates had separated parents or "masculine mothers" in the full sense of it. As in, she calls all the shots like a matriarch. 😂😂😂

Lol @Ybaby!
NL is really missing some veteran posters.
