Some of us refused to go on maternity leave till few days to the D-Day.
If you are healthy, pregnancy should never be an excuse for being lazy or to steal. She could have begged for alms than resort to stealing.

My people would ask you if you are pregnant on your hands? Others would ask if you are the first to be pregnant?

Stealing should never be an option.

Having said that, the villagers were too harsh in their judgement. They are all mad in that village.

Nairaland moderator, please be in charge of this humanitarian outreach and help this lady, her son and her unborn child. I do not support what she did, but her community leaders and elders are worst, how could they banish a pregnant lady with a little child who just lost her husband.
Get her info and put her on go fund me, this could change her life and that of her children.

Instead of paying for what she stole, they're flexing muscle, how is this justified, she's pregnant for God sake, stealing is bad but she has valid reasons and what she stole isn't even important, the real thieves are being applauded, any fool can see she's going through a lot, why Una wicked like this.
