Buhari banned the importation of rice, and the rice farmers who applauded the policy, and boasted they had the capacity to meet local demand jacked up the price.

Then, fuel never cost like now o. Transportation too was cheaper, exchange rate was less the N1000 so fertilizer and other imported farm inputs were more affordable. .

Yet, wetin happen? Price of 50kg bag of rice went north of 100k, making it unaffordable for many Nigerians.

Many times, when some prominent peeps rail against a government policy, check well, na because their pockets dey affected, and not because they care about the common man.

This is different sir. This is agriculture we are talking about here. You and I know that the mainstay of our economy was agriculture before the discovery of oil.

Agricultural products was our largest exports because oil.

At times I do feel like I'm the one among my peers who doesn't really know much about crypto. I know a whole lot of things but u see crypto; I know next to nothing about it.

The good thing is I have a personally principle to never invest in anything I don't have a full grasp of its intricacies. Most times I see people posting about crypto , forex and and those digital "investment" stuff I just face my front to avoid this kind of stories.

One of my former colleagues literally used crypto money to relocate abroad with his family. His crypto investment swelled but that didn't make me chook my head into it because I know if I put my widow's mite into it and the thing crash, I fit craze from the loss.

I would always take investment vehicles that are properly regulated by government or its agencies like Treasury bills , mutual funds, bonds, etc over crypto and dem forex any day any time

Only use money you can afford to lose on these things. Let's say you have 50m, and you put the whole 50m into crypto, if the coins crash, you have nobody to blame but yourself, that is stupidity. Some people now take crypto and forex as full time jobs, and most of the time that leads to disaster.
