Whoever brought the idea of enforcing tax compliance on already suffering Nigerians struggling to survive by the day never loved Nigerians and if Tinubu goes ahead with that devilish tax law, it will come with too many consequences on his regime and person.

He should have a rethink. His wife should open some Bible verses for him to remind him how God handled wicked leaders who never considered the sufferings of the people they led.

You cannot account for anything good the Nigerian governments have used Nigeria's crude oil resources and wealth to do for several decades, yet you had the audacity to want to force every Nigerian to pay more tax to same irresponsible government just to raise more money for you and your appointees to loot as usual.

Next you tell us how Europe and other countries pay tax, but you have never been responsible, fair, sincere, accountable and transparent like European leaders, you rule with nepotism, discrimination, division, hatred and bias yet you want all Nigerians to be patriotic and wish you and your bias nepotistic regime well, time will tell
Oil this year has been below 70 dollars per barrel. Budget baseline was 75 dollars. Our fiscal.breakeven is even higher at 150 dollars per barrel.

I don't like tinubu, but taxation is meant to in the short term reduce the borrowing we have to do. We can't eliminate borrowing because we would need to raise taxes to half the income to even come close

Where the government fails is diversification and industrialization

All the loans borrowed are looted. All the crude oil resources we have are looted. The money looted by corrupt Nigerian government officials is more than enough to turn the fortune of Nigeria around.

Before you talk of taxing already devastated Nigerians to raise more money, block the corrupt loopholes, show accountability with what we already have, be strict in prosecuting corrupt officials starting with Nyesome Wike that have been exposed for land grabbing in Abuja. Start with showing Nigerians that you are responsible and can manage what we already have and can be held accountable.

If you think forcing Nigerians to pay tax will make a corrupt government and President with his corrupt, bias appointees to become responsible and accountable then you need to have a rethink.

Nigeria's problem is not raising more money but making good use of what we have and what we borrowed.

Nigeria's problem is not taxing people to increase government revenue but corruption, lack of empathy, lack of accountability, nepotism, tribalism in government and mass corruption in government and civil service.

Even if Tinubu's government raise 10000 trillion dollars from taxing Nigerians, he and his appointees and our corrupt civil servants will still steal and loot the money and still leave Nigerians poorer and worst

Okay. You don't get it.

This isn't about politics, because the same thing you complain about happened when your side was in power.

More taxation may even incentivize people to hold their government to account self. Reduces the looting

But since you think I am defending government, adieu

Anyone can fall sick. I don't think it's right to speak like this of anyone. Lots of past leaders that embezzled money are still alive at their very old age today. So stealing is not the reason why you fall ill. Perhaps, if you have the privilege to reach the heights he attained in his career, maybe you'll grow some wisdom and learn to appreciate success. Wale Edun is not your problem.

Humans fall sick, it’s part of life, and death comes for everyone, both the good and bad, whether you like it or not. If you could achieve even one percent of what the Finance Minister has accomplished in life, your name wouldn’t be buried in obscurity. Your comment screams ignorance and emptiness.

If you know , how many families your government as rendered jobless and useless..

The poor educational and economic reforms as render teenagers to engage in dangerous and demonic activities...

The recent Abuja raid that killed the journalist.. checking the Age group of those evil men.. says alot.. and they are potential possible forest guards, camp guards.. but because MAYBE they are neglected. and this guys are just one among so many...

OS among our young women primary and secondary schools students.. U even had the gut to charge TAXs on OS.. for every action they perform.

So let it be unto you... As you have wished common citizens of Nigeria... Youths.

The future for Nigeria youth is very blink...

No solution in view yet...

Information is that he is still in Nigeria and being treated in Abuja hospital.

He can't be airlifted at this stage or he will die.
This is why you need well equipped hospitals in our country....but they won't HEAR!!!.

You forgot to add high executives, judiciary and legislatures spending without accountability. Excess and careless spending embedded in breeds and sheer corruption.

Excluding all those you mentioned and my added points...... The government seems to know what they are doing but must curtail the excessive spending, corruption and the greeds among the executives and other arms of government. They need to reduce their spending on useless things like sponsoring of Pilgrimage, marrying wives for people in some states etc.....

Is there no Minister of State or DG in that Ministry to do.the work. What is the business of the CBN with the Ministry of Finance. What kind of country is this.

But it is no surprise here. Legislators build the infrastructure they are supposed to supervise, the military does policing work while the police does personal protection work. Just an upside down anyhow country.

You are the same people complaining that this people are not doing anything, deu to excessive stress and untiredly effort because of this country he had a stroke and you peopleare not even remorseful, if it is one of your family members will you all be saying all this? He is an old man and is not a crime that he had stroke but you people should beware of when you will get old like him, maybe when you have that opportunity to match his age.
