This Tinubu is not fit to rule. He is always reckless in all his decisions. Our biggest problem right now is insecurity, so how do you explain releasing over hundred criminals back into society on the guise of presidential pardon. Such recklessness was what made him to remove subsidy and devalue naira without a thought.

Man not fit to rule.

Let me see how Raumdeuter will defend this one.
Those criminals will pay back the freedom during 2027 election.

Anybody voting against APC is gambling with his life.

At times I do feel like I'm the one among my peers who doesn't really know much about crypto. I know a whole lot of things but u see crypto; I know next to nothing about it.

The good thing is I have a personal principle to never invest in anything I don't have a full grasp of its intricacies. Most times I see people posting about crypto , forex and and those digital "investment" stuff I just face my front to avoid this kind of stories.

One of my former colleagues literally used crypto money to relocate abroad with his family. His crypto investment swelled but that didn't make me chook my head into it because I know if I put my widow's mite into it and the thing crash, I fit craze from the loss.

I would always take investment vehicles that are properly regulated by government or its agencies like Treasury bills , mutual funds, bonds, etc over crypto and dem forex any day any time
Even these ones can pack up on a very bad day egbon especially if a crook has access to the funds in their establishment or other reasons, it's just that crypto is more volatile by far cause of several market factors affecting it, anything digital currency or trading is always more susceptible to losses, ajebo Danny said he lost $500,000 during the Bitcoin crash years ago.

Those ones are safer compared to all these digital currency/ trading that don't have any real leg to stand on. Anything that has regulator/government hand in it will always be relatively safe and less susceptible to manipulations compared to non-regulated terrain.

About Crypto, I believe the 5% rule is the way.

Never have more than 5% of your liquidity in any high risk investment. Only exceptions are for expert traders who know what they are doing but for regular folk like you and me, put 5% and delete the app. Whether e go up or e crash move on with your daily life.

Wilful ignorance of anything is also not a flex. Better to learn about it and decide to abstain because it doesn’t fit your strategy.
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 12:03pm On Oct 13, 2025
Talking about crypto crash; the building in the picture below was used as Cbex Lagos office. It is located along the express that goes from Iyana Ipaja to Lasu/Iyana Iba road.

After the Cbex crash, I drove past there and noticed EFCC sealed the building as part of their "investigation" into the Cbex crash. Recently I drove past and noticed the building is still under sealed .

Mind you, the building is a very new complex that had tenants who may not have anything to do with Cbex occupying it too. I don't even know if the building actually belonged to the promoters of Cbex or not.

Now my question is what will be the fate of other tenants who rented either office or shop space in the complex? Do they have any hope of ever recovering their rent from whoever owns the building?

Crypto go up and down. Always has been. Those are people who speculated on high risk volatile experimental virtual coins with no actual fundamental value. One of the guy who killed himself was holding currency for a government military and lost it.

What is the purpose of a Presidential pardon? It is not meant for people who are innocent in the first place, Its meant for criminals and at the discretion of the dept of Justice and president

Now google a list of countries who have presidential pardons and the type of criminals they pardon, what crimes they committed to get the pardon

Just for your education. So that when 2027 comes and you need to campaign for Tinubu you have the facts and not Obidient talking points who Kenneth Okonkwo called Ekukes

APC does not need any of those pardoned to win election in 2027
The 2027 elections at this point favors Tinubu, The obvious obstacle will be an Atiku-Obi merger. Besides that, only his health can stop him

Right now 17months to election, No one is sure of the opposition platform, Is it ADC is it LP or PDP. This indecision has led those who were not sure to simply assume the opposition is not serious

Ordinarily to unseat a govt is difficult but when the actors are not serious is makes it almost impossible. This lack of direction is making those who should be the opposition bloc to start pitching their tents with APC. By the end of this week, Peter Mbah will likely be joining APC making it 3 out of 5 SE states. Currently 4 out of 6 SS states are already with APC(without counting Fubara). What this shows is that many have given up on 2027 and the race for 2031 and beyond has begone. No one wants to be left behind

1. The forgery case is not a failure of the senate but that of the DSS who investigated Nnaji and cleared him. If Nnaji presents a clearance from DSS what should the Senate do?

2. Truly forgery is common in Nigeria. Many civil servants also have forged documents and also adjusted their age to stay longer in service.

3. Having classmates does not mean you graduated. There are many people you will see in your class but you don't know for certain if they graduated. e.g Nnaji will have colleagues in UNN who will know him but graduating no one can say. Its between him and UNN Senate

So the presidential pardon is to undermine the judicial process and rubbish years of hard work and risk of life of the security agencies?

FYI, the presidential pardon is meant to address cases where justice is grey. Especially for political prisoners.

I was almost certain you would defend this rascality

True, just that $19b loss in one day is unprecedented. Those who lost and are still alive will find ways to recover, but the dead is dead..

It's a failure of judiciary that such nonsense happens commonly in Nigeria.

Like when the Supreme Court foolishly said that the certificate forgery of the president was a pre- election matter. Such stupidity.

Isn't forgery a crime anymore?

Like I said research cases where pardon were given by other presidents in and out and Nigeria and tell if this meets your criteria.

Try it and see what you will find

What has court got to do with this particular Nnaji case? DSS cleared him, they sent the clearance cert to Senate who passed him. If there is any fault here it should be with DSS who cleared him

Which forgery? The one where the school of Tinubu told everyone he was an alumni?

I have and it does except in other rogue cases or countries.

Assuming the offenders have spent like half their sentences or get shortened sentences then it could have a least made some sense.

The president's actions were completely irrational and insensitive.

In fact by majoring on drug criminals, speaks a lot
