Simple Moments of a Force in Physics.

To make it simple for the unschooled, the person the load is closest to.
Wrong bro. Simple moment of force also called Torque cannot be applied here since there’s no application of force or turning effect of a force on the object. Correct answer is they all share the weight equally

No, the principles of moments would apply.
Consider the distance between point of application of force (load) and the fulcrum or hinge.
No 3 would carry the heaviest load as the weight is less cushioned.

He is the engine room of the vehicle

Seems like Seun has dropped the 40 characters policy

But all the same, let me drop this here:

Re: Who Carries The Heaviest Burden by SeriouslySense(m): 4:45pm On Oct 13, 2025
Number one, force times distance for balance.

The distance between number 1 and the load is less and he is the only one on the other side to balance the load that is being lifted and moved. huh

nah i change my mind its number 3, because only him balance the load on the second thick, while number one and number two shared the weight on the other side. cheesy

My first assertion is correct, number one takes the brunt, since number 3 takes less load and gives the rest to number one and number two, and number two takes less load grin grin grin
Re: Who Carries The Heaviest Burden by SeriouslySense(m): 4:57pm On Oct 13, 2025
We were taught in secondary school, its load balance on a pivot, i take the intersections of the rope wit the sticks as the pivots.

Who carries the heaviest burden.
The fulcrum is closer to 1

The person labeled [1] carries the heaviest burden.

Here’s why:

The orange load hangs closer to person [1], meaning the fulcrum (rope point) is nearer to him.

In a setup like this, the person closest to the hanging weight bears more of the load because the torque (rotational force) is greater on that side.
Re: Who Carries The Heaviest Burden by Port8080: 5:12pm On Oct 13, 2025
No. 3 is bearing 50% of the burden,

while no. 1 is bearing 30%
no. 2 is only bearing 20%

Simple Moments of a Force in Physics.

To make it simple for the unschooled in Physics, the person the load is closest to.
You're wrong, number 2 is actually helping the both carry their loads. So it's no2 I'm my own opinion

No I'm not.
The distance from load point is what determines the load on each person. The more you extend the stick away from the load, the less of the load you carry.

This can accurately be calculated if the load(in kg) and the distances from the rope(in meters) are provided.

It's O'level Physics Moments of Forces.

Twale I hale, Moment of a force ah that thing hard me that year before I come finally understand dey blast am any how

Definitely number 1, cause of shortest distance to load, the longer the moment from load the lighter, hence to loosen a car tire nut with longer spanner is easier than shorter spanner👍

Hmmm…. But are you seeing from my point of view. The 2nd guy is holding the stick from two ropes were tied together making him hold two weight at a time

need to get a lawyer to take up a lawsuit against your secondary school and get a refund back.

Number one does the most work due to the lever effect.

The longer the lever, the less effort needed to get work done.

Imagine a crowbar with a long handle or length and another crowbar that is very short, which one will easily get the work done.

The load is closest to number one and farther away from 2 and 3 hence 1 is doing the most work lifting it
