From semid4lyfe calculation, if we beat Benin by 2 goals tomorrow, we will enter playoffs definitely regardless of SA result if DR Congo don't beat Sudan at home or if Uganda don't beat Algeria away

Cos subtracting the bottom team results from all the groups based on the Eritrea conundrum, we will make top 4 second placed teams with 15 points (subtracting 2 points for the Zimbabwe elimination as a result of the Eritrea conundrum). Only DR Congo and Uganda can overtake that by winning.

We can almost guarantee Uganda won't beat Algeria away so games to watch out for are:

1. Nigeria Vs Benin
2. South Africa Vs Rwanda
3. DR Congo Vs Sudan

If 1 and 2 fall our way, we qualify outright

If 2 doesn't fall our way, all eyes on 3 for the Playoff spot

Biden pardoned his son for EVERY offence he could have committed including those he has not been accused of from 2014 to 2024

Leonard Peltier - Convicted of first-degree murder of two federal agents in 1975

Adrian Peeler - Convicted as a drug kingpin in Washington state, linked to the deaths of an 8-year-old boy and his mother
When a natter is not clearly established and there are grey areas, or when the offender must have served his punishment to a reasonable extent and there is probable repentance, a presidential pardon can remedy the situation. That is the purpose of it.

The case of Lagos state is different because they have an established tendency to bigotry.

We see state officials on twitter making bigoted statements even as official statements.

That's the same thing Obi is accused of, by Reno.

It's ok for Eastern Governors to demolish
illegal structures but Sanwo must not touch them.
Were the structures at the Trade Fair complex illegal?

Even if they were, are they under the jurisdiction of the state or the federal?

There is an Eritrean conundrum.

All the groups have 6 countries and each played 10 matches except Group E which had 5 countries and each played 8 matches due to Eritrea's withdrawal.

Eritrea's withdrawal created an imbalance and the only way CAF can ensure parity and fairly determine the four best 2nd placed teams is to remove the points each of the 2nd placed teams obtained from the bottom placed team in the groups.

So our failure to beat Zimbabwe has turned out to be a blessing?

So there's finally an answer for cost per KM. And we now understand why that question was difficult to answer. At 7.5million per meter, they should go and borrow the money because make I see how dem go collect tax from hands of Nigerians.

Raumdeuter and Airmark come and defend this one.

Doc what do you think about the rumour and speculations that Wale Edun may have suffered stroke ? In medical practice, are there evidences of people surviving stroke and Coming back to work in offices as stressful as that of a country's finance minister or even CFO of a company?

I thought the whole thing was a rumor but this one that Sunday Dare yesterday was claiming " I just got off phone with him..... I discussed with him over a plate of Amala....etc " is looking exactly like the COAS Lagbaja's case.

That was how it was rumored the COAS was sick around October only for the chief of defence staff to claim he was hale and hearty and that he spoke with him on phone same October. Fast forward to November the man's demise was announced.

Everything is possible when it comes to stroke. It depends on what area of the brain was affected and what functions it carries out, what portion of that area was affected, how bad the initial stroke was, how soon the medical intervention was started, the quality of medical intervention, the person's constitution, the will of Fenibeso and/or good old luck.

Sunday Dare's statement is not unexpected. The man holds a sensitive position, and sometimes white lies are needed to prevent instability while a long-term solution is being sought. Ditto the case of COAS.

If we had beaten Zimbabwe home and away, we would have been topping the group with 18 points, and we might not have needed all these permutations and combinations.

Victim mentality

Dem destroy Alaba Rago where its mainly filled with Northerners, No one claimed tribal card, They destroyed Ebute Metta that was largely Yoruba people no one claimed tribal card

BTW in Emenikes home state Soludo is doing the same demolition without any cry or issue
Not trying to take away any point from the discussion, but I laugh when people compare these parts of Lagos during the demolitions. It shows you people don't know Lagos.

Firstly, Alabarago is 90% shanties. I'm not trying to insult Northerners, but that place was just a market for buying foodstuff, and a park to travel. You can Google Alabarago, and prove me wrong by showing me the beautiful buildings there.

A middle-class Northerner does not live in Alabarago. These are people who trade on the expressway, and have virtually occupied the last lane of Lagos/Badagry expressway, with their sales of second hand furniture and mattresses. That is what LASG went to clear out.

If you contravene the laws of any place, you face the consequences. Emenike should swallow the pill and move on. But anyone comparing Alabarago to Festac is just either ignorant, or deliberately trying to be funny

If you meet 100 educated, middle class Northerners in Lagos, the chances of 1 living in Alabarago is a big Zero.

Beyond all the above, Alaba rago is a hot bed for crime and illicit drug trade. All kinds of drugs you can think of are on full display at Alaba rago.

As far back as 2010 I have always told anyone that cares to listen that a place like Alaba rago should nit exist in a state like Lagos.

But this Sunday Dare na funny guy. How can you speak on the phone over a bowl of amala?

Shey both of you cooked amala at the same time and were eating while on the phone ni, or was it only one of you that was eating amala while the other was sick on hospital bed?

I don't even see the need for comparing demolitions.

Yes, LASG said people in Festac contravened laws. Therefore, they demolished. Fine.

Which one be "dey demolish Alabarago, and nobody talk?"

Can anybody here try and remember or dig out one person in their lives or friends' lives that lived in Alabarago?

This is a place that they constantly fight with government officials. It took LASG to mobilize riot Policemen to clear them out of the BRT lane, when they wanted to open that route. These guys were hanging their wares on the lane to sell; Something a Lagosian or a Yoruba man cannot even try sef.

Till today, the park has extended to the expressway. They park their trucks and even cars in the middle lane. That's how lawless that place is.

They all know na, they just like to pretend like what happened on October 7 is not terrorism. They chose to call Hamas "freedom fighters", "resistance" and other absurd names that appease to their hate for Israel and it's right to exist as a nation. Something Israel has learnt to live with and deal with them in the language they understand since the 1940's
