Damgote salt is doing wonders in the north edging out Mr Chef.
Dangote seasoning cube is also doing well ,just behind Nestle and Onga from promasidor .
Those days of working with Alh .Garuda Dantata in Kano , I am amongst those who made Nascon what it is today , no gainsaying .
At a point I sold one truck in one day .
Kudos to Dangote , the man na born hustler .

Stop the misinformation. 76th position isn't his best ranking position ever on the billionaires annual ranking list. At a point, more than a decade ago, he was the 23rd richest person in the world on Forbes' annual list, with a net worth of $25 billion. This made him the first black man to break into the top 25. That was before he channeled his resources on the refinery project, and I'm glad that he has started reaping the rewards now.
Was about to say this cus he was in top 30 before
.. i know this very well

WHILE I COMMEND DANGOTE FOR INVESTING IN NIGERIA. THE REGULATORY AUTHORITIES ARE CULPABLE FOR THE FAILURE TO HOLD MANUFACTURING COMPANIES ACCOUNTABLE TO THEIR SOCIAL CORPORATE WELFARE RESPONSIBILITIES TO THE PEOPLE WITHIN THE JURISDICTION OF THEIR MANUFACTURING PLANTS. IN 2013, AS A MANAGEMENT POSTGRADUATE STUDENT AT CARDIFF IN THE UK, I DID A CLASS PRESENTATION ON DANGOTE INDUSTRIES, WHERE I DISCOVERED THAT HIS CEMENT INDUSTRY, AS TYPIFIED BY OBAJANA CEMENT, ACCOUNT FOR THE BULK OF HIS WEALTH, WITHOUT WHICH HE COULDN'T HAVE BECOME THE RICHEST AFRICAN.

GO TO OBAJANA, WHERE HIS CEMENT POWERHOUSE IS SITUATED, AND YOU WILL UNDERSTAND THE PRACTICAL DEFINITION OF A SLUM POPULATED BY PEOPLE BURDENED BY THE YOKE OF POVERTY! POLLUTION IS THE REWARD FOR THE SOCIAL LICENCE GRANTED BY THE LOCALS FOR THE FACTORY TO OPERATE! THIS IS GROSS INJUSTICE PER EXCELLENCE!!

EVERYONE KNOWS THAT PETROL AND DIESEL ARE THE OILS THAT DRIVE MOST BUSINESSES IN NIGERIA, WITH RIPPLE EFFECTS ACROSS THE NATIONAL ECONOMY. WITH PERFECT OVERSIGHT OF THE REGULATORY AUTHORITIES, HIS REFINERY PRODUCTS COULD HAVE BEEN FAR CHEAPER, AND COULD HAVE RADICALLY CHANGED THE FINANCIAL FORTUNES OF THE COUNTRY AND THE PEOPLE.

WHAT IS THE ESSENCE OF HAVING SUCH PLANTS IF THEIR MANIFEST BENEFITS ELUDE THE PEOPLE, AND HAVE NOT CREATED ANY DIFFERENCE IN THE PEOPLE'S WEALTH BEFORE AND AFTER THE INDUSTRIES WERE ESTABLISHED? DANGOTE HAS DONE HIS PART WITH THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE INDUSTRIES. AND THE TASK OF CONVERTING THE INHERENT BENEFITS OF THE IDUCTIRES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE CITIZENS AND THE COUNTRY DEPENDS ON THE QUALITY OF THE MORAL INTELLIGENCE OF THE PRESIDING GOVERNMENT.

In a country with the steepest inequalities in the world, some people on this thread are counting dangote's reality as their reality.

A top 1% of the 1%.

Even in America with a gdp/capital of over $30000, the people are smart enough to know that Elon musk's money is not their money, and his reality is not their reality.

But you won't hear him screaming money na water everywhere or find him carry wads of cash in a carton and spraying everywhere. The authentic wealth for what it's worth, is truly silent. Congratulations Aliko.

The north is the poverty capital of the world.
How ironic that the poverty capital of the world produces two of Africa's top ranking billionaires - Dangote and Rabiu. And we have not even mentioned the Dantatas and Indimis, the owner of MRS. Nigeria is a very funny country. You can have the most beautiful part of the country having a slum. The contrast principle always works here.

d he be paying his Nigerian engineers at his refinery 400k? That's why they wanted to join Pengassan.

I just hope it isn't true. From my finding, it seems so.

Playing kalo kalo with our crude oil. Sha, I hear he's doing better than NNPC, hence their constant efforts to frustrate his budding monopoly.

It's a shame that you guys are now specialist in changing narratives.First your overLord Tinubu didnt go for the unveiling of the refinery and we all know the reason. In the early days of his presidency, his goons and the 'Malta refinery mafias',worked had to undermine the new refinery,we all know the battle he had with NNPC. The naira for oil deal was an after thought,a face saving solution to the economic quagmire we were in.
He only got a reprieve because Nigeria government had no choice and the masses(obidients and atikulates)were all behind Dangote.
Any other explanation from you guys,is the usual agbadorians twisting of the truth.
It's now I know that this very revisionist tendency is a curse that can't be washed off.
See how you are now changing a very recent history so blatantly😂
Did you just say Obidients and Atikulates were the ones behind Dangote? As in, you mean the same Dangote? Sarcastic right?
The same Obidients that could swear with their use lss lives that the refinery would never work? Have you quickly forgotten how your puppeteer (David Hundeyin) was writing articles upon articles claiming the project wouldn't work while being cheered on by the same you, the hordes of mvmv followers?
Have you forgotten this is the same Dangote y'all called a notorious monopolist?
The same you are now the one rewriting history before our very eyes grin How amazing?
Very soon, you would tell the world how the igbos massively supported the Tinubu's coastal roads project at a time when it was rejected by every other tribes, it's just a matter of time😂😂

I can come up with post from staunch Obidients on Nairaland hoping and praying that it will all lead to chaos.

The patient dog eats the fattest bone. When Mr President introduced his economic policies, at the height of it, I could remember Dangote losing lots of his fortunes, he slid down the latter. With perseverance and steadfastness, Dangote is now reaping the fruits of the policies. Generally, Nigeria is expected to witness a turnaround with projected GDP growth in the next two quarters.
God bless President Tinubu, God bless Nigeria.

-Kiss the truth!
In fact, I gbadun your statement.

I am an avid student of the Bible. In scriptures, those that Complain and Criticize always get destroyed.

I have decided to stop Complaining and start thinking and acting positively. Irrespective of who the President is and his policies, this Man Dangote continues to make Business Progress.

I am learning something from this.
