Waste management or flood disasters?

Meanwhile...
Not to get myself involved in ur argument with Raumdeuter o, but this waste managment you mentioned caught my attention.

It's been 2 weeks and some days now since LAWMA/PSP came to collect our waste. Almost everyone's bin is filled to the brim and those PSP guys are nowhere to be found. The original agreement is for them to collect waste on weekly basis from our residences. We do not default in our payment obligation on a monthly basis, but every now and then they have made it a point of duty to default in the timing for waste collection.

The frustrating thing is that most of the PSP operators are APC stalwarts so even if u report them, the report no dey achieve anything.

They have always been disturbing them why now?
Very simple it's because of world cup, but like you said inaki is old and not fast enough for Ghana football. I don't think they have natural striker too
But I am the coach he won't start any of the WC matches unless the regular that suffered for the qualification are not available
The answer is "OPTIONS". The players had options and were weighing them.

The Ghanaian FA didn't have much options hence why they kept on disturbing them. So when the players ran out of options, they chose the remaining option. It's that simple.

Like you rightly said, the Ghanians have not been blessed in the striker department like Nigeria where we always have players like Osimehn, Arokodare, etc that are actually quality and we don't need to beg to don the national colours.

BlueRayDick:
Nketiah suits their playing style more than Inaki Williams or any other player they are parading in their attacking line.

Nketiah complements players like Kudus and Semenyo upfront. If they play any top quality team, thry will need that trio to make a difference for them.

If Nketiah is declaring now, it definitely because someone on the side of Ghana FA had been disturbing and pressuring him to declare for his motherland. I guess the world cup qualification just made the decision easy for him
Undoubtedly, he'd be a quality addition to the team.

My grouse with his declaration/switchof allegiance is the opportunism behind it, and the fact that he refused to commit before now. In fact, he turned down an invitation to play for the Black Stars in 2019 in favour of playing for England U-21., and in 2023 he bagged his first and only cap for England. Since then, England no call am, and that was the perfect time to have switched.

No be now wey others don do the hard work finish, and food don done hin go say hin wan switch allegiance to Ghana, and play for them. It stinks and rubs me the wrong way.

African Countries should not be second options, and fall-back plans for these dual nationality players when their decision does not work out. They should stick to their decisions till the end, and stop being parasitic and opportunistic.

I understand you but like I mentioned up there in my response to iamoyindamola, the Ghanaians have not been blessed in the striker department like Nigeria . They do not have the luxury of placing their pride above a genuine need .

They thought Inaki Williams was going to be their solution but he’s proven to be the opposite . Those Abedi Pele’s boys have reached “senior men “ stage in national team and would not necessarily guarantee them goals in an elite competition like the World Cup .

Nketiah would not sudeenly declare for Ghana if their FA have not been mounting pressure till date.

I thought Hudson Odoi already changed nationality to Ghana like 3yrs back
No sir. Na now he wan switch to Ghana.

He got 3 caps for the 3-Lions in 2019., and was hoping for more caps so hin bin dey do shakara.

Na so Kevin Prince Boateng tell them say he is only for world cup games. After world cup he claimed he is retired from international till next world cup
Yeah, I remember. But not gonna lie, KPB performed so well at the world cup. That was the world cup Suarez turned to Buffon grin

Look at this one

As usual you know nothing

The festac demolitions were initiated by the new lga chairman

Let the adults in the room tell you about lga autonomy.

And the demolitions were very welcome to anyone who actually values a semblance of order. People have set up kiosks and shops on sidewalks everywhere, blocking pedestrian traffic and inhibiting vehicles.

4th Avenue junction. It started with one person selling fruit by the road. Two years later it is five or six stalls and open air mechanic workshop. People blocking the junction with accidented cars.

And for your information, the lga had put up contravention markings on different buildings and structures as far back as February this year.

When your hero is a two bit underperforming philosophy grad it impacts on your already limited and diminished capacity for reason

Nonsense

Maybe next you will attack lasg if the local govt arrests the riff raff I meet doing no 2 into the public drain on my morning 500 steps

APC is like an occultic group honestly. It is like they were formed with the aim to destroy every thread of morality holding the fabric of this nation together.

All our institutions have been completely messed up especially the Judiciary.

Fools and criminals have taken over governance and here we are. The worst part is that seemingly smart people like Ramdeuter and Airmark will be defending them, and doing so from the comfort of sane societies.
You are still here when the Enugu governor don move go APC.

Still waiting for Taraba and Bayelsa to show their hand

I don't think it is a stupid policy. In fact most people who are in their 60's and 70's now confirmed Mathematics wasn't compulsory during their time and things worked fine for them.

Most of the great authors that have gone to put Nigerian name on the world map didn't have to worry about passing mathematics during their own time.

A did a little ChatGpt prompt and the result revealed that most universities in the UK do not require a pass in mathematics to study art courses like Fine Art, History, creative writing, etc.

Don't hate APC for mastering the game PDP created perfected and celebrated while they were in the seat

When Peter obi was jumping from APGA to pdp was democracy in danger?

When olu falae was collecting 10m as mobilization from dasuki was democracy in danger?

Somehow APC was able in spite of all the obstacles, take Nigeria from a pdp behemoth that had control of all the govt apparatus and used same

If apc could do it then, pdp /adc/*** can do it today, if they get their acts together.

If not... It is what it is.

When the governors say they want to move, will APC block them and their freedom of association?
Maybe APC is treating them better and has better leadership

Right now you wont even know who PDP leaders are, One person will be leader today, tomorrow in court another person will emerge leader

I have known President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu since 1998. I know the man’s mind, his courage, and his conviction. He is not driven by applause, he is driven by results. And today, I can boldly say to you that he is on the right track.

For the first time in our nation’s history, we have a President who truly understands finance, who sees the economy not as a political slogan, but as a living organism that must be disciplined, deregulated, and allowed to breathe.

The painful reforms we face today are the very foundation of tomorrow’s prosperity. We are moving into a free-market economy, one that rewards hard work and innovation instead of dependency and distortion.

When you don leave your village or home town for 20 to 30yrs plus. The village has also left you. Everything else na wishful memories. The childhood memories are no longer your current realities

Shebi you heard about the Ifunnaya girl whose dad retired in the US and he relocated to Naija in the east. His eye saw shege from his brother until the girl came to save her dad
Nostalgia should have it's limits. I don't understand people that leave places and still be looking back like Lot's wife. Especially a place wey no favor you so much so you had to leave

Especially in the East they're notorious for putting grieving people through hell. Their villages, their churches. I understand the civil war trauma might still hold but if you did not live majority of your life in that damn village why are you so damn adamant on going back in your old age.

Why don't the parents tell the children of these things beforehand.

They are lowkey part of the problem that lets these useless traditions continue.

I keep asking why they find it so hard to extricate themselves from these places and people

Sometimes the parent like some of the cultures and want their kids to identify with the culture and tradition, But in many cases, in those traditions what is behind 6 is more than 7. There are good part but there are many bad parts too. And the unprepared children who are somehow distant from the village won't know before hand

When Tinubu wins in 2027, there will be a lot of alignment and realignment as race for who will succeed him and vice heats up.

The Northern politicians messed up by attacking BAT very early into his administration, they practically played into his hands.

Now they have no leverage to negotiate with.

What's happening is basically a United political Southern show of force. Nothing more, nothing else.

my sister don dey yankee over 10 years now. maybe 15 sef. her mindset is different. when i say some things i sound like a negative thinking paranoiac

she was in naija and she traveled to ilorin and a person who wanted to send dollars to his pikin in the us wanted to meet with her. i told her anyone giving you dollars to carry must meet you at the airport when you are flying back to lagos. anything else IS NOT SAFE. we almost fought on this , but fortunately, the person when was to meet had some sort of argument with her and it did not go through

one of my colleagues - ha his MIL shot by robbers who stormed the place she was staying for dollars.

naija where siblings sic kidnappers on each other? naija where the next thing you will hear is your successful sibling is the one eating your destiny?

then when you enter village proper and it gets really really diabolical and you as an abrodian are simply not cut out for it

As with every culture that you are not fully into, you only hear about the good sides and not the not so good side

Someone like your sister might be protected while growing and not be fully exposed to the real inner workings of the tradition and what is going on even while she was living in Nigeria

I know a villa where the people wey don comot just to Ibadan or Lagos dey park their cars and take bike to visit because they believe either diabolical things or armed robbers can be sent after you if people notice you are successful

I know a friend in Uni, grew up in Lagos but parents are from Ile-Oluji in Ondo, he went to bury their grandma. Then while in Ile-Oji, someone saw them, asked for their name and wanted to put some beads on their neck before one of the aunties quickly reacted to block

Hunger bad Sha.

I saw the news yesteeday evening saying Maryam Sandra's father-in-law forgives her and approved her release/pardon. I was like WTF? 🤷‍♂️

https://www.nairaland.com/8539559/bilyaminus-father-ahmed-bello-isa

The family had earlier released a press release condemning her release by the FG and express their bitterness about the whole presidential pardon thingy.

Now it's being revealed that the father wasn't in the late son's life and only showed up when his properties were about to be shared. The same father is one who negotiated with the in-laws and organize a joint press conference to give the his support to the presidential pardon.

Hunger no be good thing at all; even from the picture u can tell.
