Russian sources confirm the de-facto loss of Oleksiivka, Sumy region. Ukrainian forces are already in the center and control the southern part. Attempts to bring in Russian reserves are failing, with most units taking heavy losses before reaching the front. Russian channels admit Oleksiivka will have to be abandoned. This one too is no longer "strategically important" |

emmaodet:They did it to Roman Abramovich. Well, China has barred the exports of the firm's products from the country. Also, China has placed severe restrictions on the export of raw earth minerals and every Chinese-related technology involved in the mining, refining and distribution of raw earth minerals. They banned chip exports to China, they place Chinese companies on sanctions, they bar Chinese goods, but they don't want the same to be done to them? Jokers! These people have met a greater force. |

Scorpio99:https://www.reuters.com/business/finance/well-timed-options-trades-ahead-trumps-tariff-pause-draw-questions-2025-04-10/ I don’t understand the message you’re trying to convey. If you’re shorting the market with millions of dollars just before Trump’s post, it means you have prior knowledge about the post and also know Trump is placing 100% tariffs on china. This is insider trading. It doesn’t matter if the traders are Chinese or Russian, they are working with Trump. The link and picture in my post are from western media, I don’t know why you’re talking about Russian propaganda. Insider trading has been happening in both stocks and crypto since the libration tariff. The pictures below are from the link, it’s about insider trading in stocks April 2025.

LordAdam16:They hold the cards. China is the world's biggest trading partner. AGOA has ended, but the Chinese have approved Gambian nuts and Ethiopian cereals. Argentina, with its initial gra-gra sells to China, else those soybeans for don rotten. Brazil is there. Nigeria is there too. The Chinese were smart to side-step the West and sell to the rest of the world. Just as I stated on Panso's thread, that was the best decision to take - sell to others. Flood their markets with newer technologies so their living standards rise tremendously. We see this with renewable technology products sold from Sierra Leone to Peru. We see this in setting up factories to process minerals in Zimbabwe, Nasarawa and Indonesia. American companies are mining in Zambia, no factory. The Chinese are mining in Zimbabwe, factory na water. Remember, in all of this trade, no one is bombing you, removing your president or telling you to do LGTV. Just Mandarin, alcohol and business. Daz ol! |

Gerrard59:Una no go kill person for this thread ooo. Which one be LGTV? ![]() Truth be told, the time of the West is over! It's so satisfying seeing all the useless hands they meted to others being reciprocated by China and The Axis. Never have they believed or even dared to think a day like this would dawn. We in the global south should be grateful for the rise of China and Russia - but China especially. Without economic might you can't fight the West let alone dream of defeating them! |

Gerrard59:Just to add to this: https://archive.md/2025.10.13-185238/https://www.economist.com/china/2025/10/13/consequences-be-damned-china-loves-its-own-economic-model "One boast in the editorials was telling: that China is the only country that hosts every category of industry, as defined by international standards. This, in the official view, makes China the ultimate guarantor of global supply chains and economic development. But a guarantor also has blocking power, as seen in the way China has wielded its dominance in rare earths to gain leverage in its trade war with America. China wants to present itself as a force for stability. It often looks more like a force for itself." We really need to learn from the Chinese in how they have mastered every field and dominated it. I believe the love of mathematics and methodical thinking is behind their success. One of the notable aspects of China's development is its peaceful and non-combative nature. China has not invaded any country to scoop its resources. China has not sponsored the toppling of any country's president. China's trade has resulted in reduced poverty in sub-Saharan Africa alongside an increase in living standards and availability of "White goods". As I have stated in Panso's thread, if a country does not like the trade terms with China or has excessive loans, an arrangement is easily reached. No president is removed. When Ghana needed loans from the IMF, an anti-LGTV bill was not signed by the then-president. The World Bank refuse to lend Uganda money for a similar bill. AGOA has ended (Trump was interested at the last minute, and there is a deadlock in Congress), meanwhile, goods are exported from Gambia, South Africa and Kenya to China (tariff-free). In fact, Trump's tariffs superseded the AGOA reduced tariffs. For emphasis's sake, China is not perfect. However, the rise and continuous rise of China's economy and Chinese technologies have been a force for good. Life is interesting and fun when there are options and participants aren't forced on what to choose. |

Mikasaobi:Arguing with you has always been a waste time. No one is arguing Insider trading with you. It exists and many people know. We are only asking you to prove your claim that it is related to Trump or has his hands in it. US stock market annual report filings used to be hacked before it is released and sold for money before they started doing something about it. Simply put, that guy could have bought that information from anyone who knew Trump was going to make that post or anyone with great economic discernment who knew it was likely Trump was going to slap tariffs on China. And remember, the tariffs were supposed to take effect on November 1. Someone could have had access to a leaked document that made them know tariffs were coming, they might even not know Trump was going to post about it. It points no finger at Trump himself!!! |

⚡Two US B-52H bombers (BUNNY01 & BUNNY02) flew within ~100–240 miles of Caracas today, circling over the southern Caribbean for several hours before returning to the US. The flight stayed in international airspace but sparked alarm in Venezuela. Venezuelan military scrambled jets and went on alert. |

⚡The Trump administration has secretly authorized the C.I.A. to conduct covert action in Venezuela, escalating its campaign to remove President Nicolás Maduro. The new authorities, a presidential finding, allow the agency to carry out lethal operations in Venezuela and the Caribbean, either unilaterally or alongside potential U.S. military action. This comes as the Pentagon draws up strike options and continues a large military buildup in the Caribbean, with 10,000 U.S. troops, eight warships, and a submarine already in place. The authorization was developed under National Security Adviser Marco Rubio and C.I.A. Director John Ratcliffe, who has vowed to make the agency “more aggressive.” Privately, U.S. officials have been clear: the goal is regime change. |
