Ask the husband to find out cost from UBTH. The price will obviously vary from one teaching hospital to another .

Went to my mechanic today and he told me his wife has been diagnosed with invasive breast cancer.....(started as a lump n was advised to run cancer test)

No doctor available till next week (UBTH)...i went online and the outcome was not a good one.....

Will meet him up 2moro

Any advice huh@Afrodoc and co
They should keep to the UBTH appointment next week. More tests likely need to be carried to better stage the cancer. There are different levels of invasive cancer.

Invasive breast cancer is by default malignant and not benign.

Invasive breast cancer is malignant. Maybe you guys are trying to say you hope that it is locally invasive and not yet metastatic.

Does the very early stage of it still requires partial/total surgery.??

The only thing I know was his lil kid refused to suck from the breast from the very onset n they decided to pressed d milk off only to see a lump after few months of weaning

Start crowdfunding - but if you do, a third party must oversee and manage the money. often when money is crowdfunded in matters like this it is often more money than the recipients have ever seen and funny things can happen. so it is better that from day one all monies are transparently paid directly to a known party and disbursed as necessary.

If they said it is invasive breast cancer that hope that it is benign is gone. The hope now is that it has not spread.

Have never got involved in anything close to crowdfunding or any close to that.

If it is invasive cancer there will be surgery, and the extent of surgery depends on the extent of the cancer.

It might be a lumpectomy in which only the lump and surrounding tissue are cut off.
It might also be a partial mastectomy which removes much of the breast or a total mastectomy whereby the whole breast and most likely the lymph nodes in the armpit are removed.

Apart from surgery there might be additional treatment like radiotherapy, chemotherapy, hormone therapy, based on the cancer's features.

If they say it is invasive cancer, then it can't be benign.

Benign means non-cancer while malignant means cancer. It has to do with the nature of the cells and has nothing to do with whether it has spread or not.

Permit my ignorance but why SE leaders wants Kanu released, without even a trial sef,the wanton destruction that guy has caused directly or indirectly in that region warrants a minimum of life imprisonment
It's not even the SE leaders it's the people. Basically it is due to the selective justice and the distrust of the government.

Talking about going for trial, have you realised that a trial judge has already granted him bail? That order was violated by the FG. So let's start from there, before we go to the damages awarded to him after the illegal state kidnapping

No that's not the point.

He is the chairman of the Presidential Tax reform committee, he's the one that proposed the new tax law.

My question is simple, what is in the new tax law that he's championing now that contradict the screenshot you are posting.

I'm sure you have read the tax law, so it would be easy to point out the contradiction.
