Nominated Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has proposed the use of drones to monitor elections.

Amupitan made the remark on Thursday while answering a question put forward to him by the lawmaker representing Abia North, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.

Senator Kalu, who was worried over the deteriorating security situation in the country, asked what Amupitan would do to ensure that sensitive election materials are safely transported to polling units.

Election is not rigged on the field. I suggest you use the drone at the coalition centers that's where election is rigged.

God bless you, I don't join them wailing anymore. Nigerian chooses their tormentor and blaim INEC. Instead of them forming crazy grassroot alliance against politicians who kept Us in perpetual poverty. They choose to divide and call some Obedient, Agbado and Aboki. Politicians saw the division and enticed the most foolish among us. As it was in 2023 so it is in 2027.

Drones will not stop the corruption in Election. Oga Inec develop a live transmission of result on the go with the help of technology this can be solved. Build a big board in a stadium and let all the media company be present to telecast the result displayed on the billboard on the go. When we decide to do that then i will know we are ready for free fair election. but rightnow getting a drone is just to embezzle funds
